Will the Mem be showing the game?
Must admit I don't fully understand the rules of being allowed to watch games on TV now but surely the club can make some money along the lines of a beam back?

Think I read somewhere that Rovers Rovers can only screen a match if we sell out our allocation of tickets? Happy to be proved wrong on this.

Yes our full allocation of away tickets must be sold and then it can be considered if both clubs are in agreement. unfortunately I can't see a sell out on Tuesday at Rochdale along with 3 points unfortunately. Another ground we don't venture well at. Having said that on paper we should be targeting 6 points from the next 2 games. here's dreaming !!!

Does that apply though when it's already being screened live in the UK on iFollow? What's to stop Rovers screening it in the bar without charging an entrance fee just like they could a live Sky Premiership or cup game on Tuesday evening?

As I'm on holiday next week I'll be going up there. Hopefully three points.

I remember we showed a Friday Night game against Cambridge which only around 300-400 Gashead went to so not sure how true that is?

I''m not too sure.
Hopefully they do this, would happily spend my money this way, other than spending the money watching it through IFollow at home.

Attachment DeletedLong time ago there was no relegation from Div 4 but the bottom 4 clubs had to apply for re-election.Rochdale and Halifax often featured and when I ran the line there one August,Rochdale were perennial re-election applicants.Little old lady came in to ask for our expenses and added ,Can't believe they've let us stay in the league yet again. They got rid of some staff but at the last minute have asked me to be the secretary and I love it so if I do anything wrong don't tell anyone!!' Rochdale and Wrexham only clubs in my day to provide officials with meals after the game. Also the only club that provided a duplicated rather than glossy match day programme.Loved the experience at these little clubs rather than the big guns.Match fees then were the same whatever division. Worst by a mile was Northampton( pictured) who shared a cricket ground.Three sided, dreadful floodlights and only stand constructed with scaffolding.

Talking of that Northampton ground I’ve got good memories of that place 1-0 down came back to win 2-1 1990 a tap in from mcclean and a scorcher from Olly.

Yep, we should've been 4/5 up before they scored their goal.
As I went in for the away game, we parked in the big car park by the ground, a bloke offered me £150 for my ticket and I turned it down!!! How stupid was I..?

If it does only cost a tenner and can be shown "in public", I have no idea why the club doesn't show it.
When new stadiums are open the talk is use 24/7. When the share scheme started the Mem was in use 4-5 days a week (including rugby). I know the SC and volunteers organised a lot (Rick and Sladey etc) but Trish and Rob Laurance at the Stadium did a lot (including chicken in a basket), but at least it got non Rovers fans coming in aka other revenue streams.
It seems that the club have 3 or 4 more staff than we did then, but are actually producing less!
No mention of Xmas parties, the only events at the Mem are SC quiz, Helpline party and a subbueto competition. So none have been organised by stadium staff.Very poor effort.
And when something is arranged nobody knows about it. Does the media or marketing dept know that not everyone uses twitter?
Tannoy announcements, posters, adverts in the programme and mentions on local radio and press, I would imagine are free and would reach the over 40s who are not used to a PC.
Let's hope this new programme editor us half as good as Keith.
PS has Tom sorted out the speakers in the bar yet so fans can hear screen soccer?
