Yes Henbury it has gone quiet. On Monday night I was talking to some of their fans where I sit and said it had gone quiet about the new ground. No one seemed to know anything about it. But none of them are worried, after all when you are watching PL football with a pretty good team and sitting 7th in the league it gives it all a different perspective. And, let’s face it, 3 years, you can’t call that a wait can you? Now I know a team who’ve had to wait a lot longer and already had enough false starts to drive real fans to drink!😭 UTG!

Announced earlier that their plans to move to a new Stadium early 2020s are unrealistic, plans on hold for now.

The percentage of income from gate receipts compared to tv money is massive. Imo the stadium is more for attracting better players than making more money as it's peanuts compared to the tv money.

The extra income clubs get from the new tv deal compared to the old one would cover letting everyone in for nothing. Look at premiership wages. Our gate receipts might pay for one premier player. Frightening money

Yes, AFCB will need a new ground to attract the players that they will need to stay in PL. Eddie H has always been vocal about the need for a new ground and over the past few years what Eddie wants he usually gets within reason. Having rebuilt the ground in 2001-2002 they will become another club to have had two new grounds since we moved to the Mem! And I had to listen to a Bournemouth fan on TV local news moan about the delay!! They have no idea. 😭 UTG!
