I'm not concerned about the stickers at all, and I wouldn't knock the fundamental idea, but if they have the potential to be popular why not just sell a set of stickers and a poster in the shop for a couple of quid and be done? The idea of giving things away for 'free' with something you actually have to pay for is a bit passé in the modern world me thinks....

The idea of a sticker collection is a good one. My 11 year old loves collecting his stickers and cards. The downside is it's another area where the big clubs are pulling on the "football heart strings" of our kids. Ive actually printed him cards of the Rovers squad in the past. We're not able to attend regularly so I'll be looking out for some savy gashead putting them on eBay if there's no other way of obtaining them!
Strange that they are only doing 32 stickers when the quarter design poster clearly lends itself to 36 - evidently expecting us to have the usual cup runs!

Agree 100% but maybe they've been disappointed with the number of programme sales and want to wring a few more quid out of us humble people

I particularly enjoyed the 6 additional minutes of injury time football which I got to see at no extra cost today as a benefit of my season ticket. I look forward to similar season ticket holder perks at the next home game.

The poster and stickers is a really good idea but it looks completely out of balance by being 4 players short. Odd decision that.

Is it only me then that thinks that getting the name wrong of the captain of arguably the best ever Rovers side is shambolic and inept?

Is it only me then that thinks that getting the name wrong of the captain of arguably the best ever Rovers side is shambolic and inept? What do u expect when bad treatment leafs to the resignation of a gashead who worked for club for 21 years, wrote numerous books and had an enormous stash of rovers photos. I can't think of any medium level+ staff left who are local / Gasheads.

For anyone in the dark, this stems from a piece on the Gas website www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2018/october/04.10.18-programme-wfc/The latest edition of 'The Pirate' will be on sale around the ground on Saturday afternoon, along with a sticker poster pullout and two player stickers to start your collection off! Filled with all the usual articles and features - Saturday's edition boasts eighty-two pages of content. With this you will also receive an official Rovers sticker poster and two stickers to kick you off - Gas legend Ray Walker and current star Kyle Bennett! Season ticket holders can collect a poster separately for free if they wish from the club superstore, however stickers can only be acquired through the purchase of a programme. Inside the programme, supporters can read an exclusive interview with Michael Kelly - as the defender talks about how he's taken to life in the first team so far this season. Look out for the programme on sale in a variety of locations at the Mem - priced at just £3. To buy a programme online please click HERE. This is what they may have intended,in reality each programme seller were only given a small bundle of posters and stickers,so you were lucky if you got one yesterday!
