We never looked like scoring today really, again! We have sold our 2 best strikers and replaced them with 2 poor ones. Ok Reilly isn't bad but still not as good as Gaffney even so far.
I'm really worried about us. Too many games where we haven't scored or even looked like scoring! We don't have any players out now really so can't even use that excuse.

That was pretty obvious before we kicked a ball.

Our HoR is another great value appointment brought to you by the same people responsible for the family stand.

Strikers not the problem IMO! How many good chances have we provided any of the 4 strikers in these past 3 games? It’s our final ball. Too many useless crosses, poor passes etc. We only look like scoring from the odd set piece at the moment.

His son was also given a contract in the development squad at same time. You can blame the owners and Board for a lot but Widdrington is all SC's doing.

Perhaps we have the players to score goals but arnt played or are given little time on the pitch because of the obsession with playing TN

Who are these players in your opinion?

Payne seems out of favour due to lack of effort so I guess all we have until Christamas is Reilly and Jakubiak. Very worrying and nothing anyone can do until Christmas and then not much with Hani holding the purse strings.

Some of the signings could have been in the works before he even arrived. I know a lot of Coventry fans that credit him with turning their recruitment completely around which helped them to promotion.

Very worrying and nothing anyone can do until Christmas and then not much with Hani holding the purse strings. Given that we are at our spending limit (EFL Rules limit) we would have to allow someone to go to make room. who do you suggest? Who would command a fee. Lockyer would, but no one seems interested in him. Clarke has recruited badly, by getting players in positions we didn't need. Upson for example. Monetary wise our squad is worth very little. And as for his "would rather play our own players than other peoples" he obviously doesn't think that about the goalies, but does think that about the forwards. the total squad is a mess, he has too many players, lets remember we still have Rollin yet to play, AND he has 3 pros in the development squad. To say he hasn't been backed is wrong, he's been backed but brought in players that are no better than the ones we had. He is out of his depth in this league. He should go tomorrow.

That wouldn't surprise me, he has got no eye for a player at this level so it stands to reason he has got no eye for a HoR either. If DC is to stay we need to get rid of Widdrington and bring in someone experienced at this level in recruiting players to handle everything about recruitment. Give DC the job of training them and setting up on match day. His signings since promotion to league one have mostly been bloody awful.

if your answer to a full back crisis is a loanee from league 2 then your head of recruitment should walk the plank. Recruitment at this level is beyond DC

Whatever the problem/issue is with stefan payne i think the the manager needs to get on top of it. Were not good enough to play with 2 small strikers. In flashes ive seen a good strong player in payne but something isnt right with him and dc or maybe even the club?
