8 clean sheets from 14 games. Superb. Hoping we can keep him beyond January.

Wouldn't think we have any hope at all of getting him permanently. Far too good for this level.
Hope I'm wrong though!

But only 3rd choice in a midtable championship team.
I reckon we could sign him in January

People need a reality check. His form makes his value about a million.
He probably wants to be a first choice championship keeper. Lumley has done it so every chance Bonham can take his chance as well.
No chance of us signing him, or him even wanting to come here permanently.
Best option is that he stays till the end of the season and doesn't get recalled and enjoys his time with us and who knows he might come back in about ten years.

We always seem to have good keepers when we're sh**! It’s when you’re sh** you find out how good your keeper is

Etherington is playing regularly in the Prem and I think Bonham is better.

You could always negotiate a verbal agreement but its not worth the paper its written on until he signs across the dotted line. I'm hoping we pull out all the stocks to sign him as he is key to us staying up this season and our future success in years to come.

Goalkeepers are usually very undervalued, especially ones that have failed to make it at a higher level before, there is no way I can see him going for anywhere near that sort of money with 6 months left on his contract bearing in mind that Bodin was probably the best winger in the division and we could only get £500k for him in a similar situation. Bonham's form is turning a few heads but we have every chance of signing him if we put a good offer on the table in my opinion, I can see him wanting to come here after being shunned by Brentford and heavily criticised by their fans, we've given him a chance and showed him appreciation. We can't allow him to be another Lumley who slips through our grasp.

Are people getting confused between Bonham & De Ge?
Bonham is doing well, but £1m?! If Bodin is worth 450k with 6 months left, how the * is Bonham worth £1m? I think it’s others who need the reality check..
Bonham is doing very well for us, but let’s not get carried away. His shot stopped is excellent but has poor distribution (albeit better than what we’ve had recently) as his kicking goes straight to the opposition goalkeeper too much in my opinion.
He’s a 3rd choice goalkeeper in a midtable team in the division above & he is out of contract in the summer. 100k would easily secure his services - the bloke will clearly want to play regular football and Brentford probably would have let him go for free in the summer - now they have a chance to pick up a small fee for one of their reserve players

Perhaps optimistic but if you look at Lumley, he had a great loan spell with us and the following year he was loaned out to Blackpool. This guys got 6 months on his contract left at Brentford and not rated by them so lets show a bit of gumption and go get him I say.

The BOD need to back DC to the hilt in Bonham and also a couple of decent strikers.

Bonham might be the real deal but dont forget ryan sweeney who followed a great 6 month loan spell with a truly dreadful season and ended up unable to get a game with us.
