It’s a very strange atmosphere in Leicester today. Got back from Barnsley just as it happened.

I may be a little premature but well done to the pilot for keeping away from people on the ground.

It was fortunate that it was an hour after the game. It doesn't bear thinking about if it had happened as the crowd were leaving. A sad day

I didn't realise what the owner did for the local community till I saw it on the news. He gave Millions to the hospital, Millions to the university. He bought everyone a pie & pint on his birthday. He was loved by everyone there, he will be missed up there.

By pure coincedence i am visiting friends on the 10th November who are LCFC season ticket holders, and have tickets for the game v Burnley, this will be the first home game since the terrible accident.
I will be taking a Rovers Shirt or Scarf to lay at the memorial to give our respects from BRFC

Such a sad loss! May they rest in peace. Thoughts go out to all concerned. On a side note I ain’t ever getting into a helicopter, always baffled me how on earth they are safe!

Such a sad tragedy, their owner Vichai seemed like such a kind generous man, having been onto the Foxes forum. Regarding helicopter travel it is obviously still very very rare that crashes occur, but I have to say that having taken several helicopter journeys to and from a ship I used to work on, I never felt comfortable onboard. I would be really hesitant to travel by helicopter again, even with the low risk.

Spent many years travelling to and from oil platforms in the North Sea and only ever had one problem when an engine had to be shutdown on the way back to Aberdeen. Never been more grateful when we passed over the coast north of the airport. Even dressed in a survival suit never fancied an early bath although a friend of mine was involved in a ditching but escaped unhurt. Unfortunately over the years a few choppers have come to grief with tragic results.
