I noticed the other day that Oxford have just signed Nile Ranger. Thoughts?

Potentially a good player at this level and all the playing attributes I would want in one of my striker options, but I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Too many personal problems and a liability.

I noticed the other day that Oxford have just signed Nile Ranger. Thoughts? I pity them signing that loose cannon.

Unbelievable, that he’s been given yet another chance, the only job, where you can continually get away with being a 🤡

Pointlessthread.com, We're talking about a player who
1) is not ours
2) signing for another club when he hasn't and is only training with them

They’re welcome to him. He goes against DCs entire ethos. Karl Robinson on the other hand...

I've listened to a lot of this interview and maybe I'm naive, but I think he realises this is his last chance.

Pretty much like he realised Swindon was his last chance. And then Southend was his last chance. I wonder which club will be his next last chance after Oxford bomb him out?

I thought he was absolutely sh*te when he played for Sarfend against us; less effective than our current striking options. They are welcome to him in my opinion

There are a large number of players released each year. There must be some players available that have dropped into non league that are worth a punt.
Not saying we should sign him but I have heard Brunty has done well at Bath and since signing has helped their surge up the table.
There are probably 20 or so similar stories up and down the country of players dropping a few divisions due to injury and clubs not willing to take a chance.
For every Jamie Shore or our current non playing left back there must be risk that pays off like Billy Bodin. They are out there. Would touch Ranger with a barge pole though.

Alex Wall has scored more than Brunt at that level this season.
