Now...This thread could be very short lived, however...with our current form, would you like to see us go on a run, pick up some money, maybe have a big day out.
Or get out asap and concentrate on the league?
I got the feeling from DC’s post-match interview, that at this current time, the FA Cup has come at a bad time and could be seen as a hindrance.
Thoughts?

It's probably an old fashioned view, but I don't think the FA Cup can ever come at a bad time.
I'd like to see us go on a run to at least the third round. I hate the draw taking place without any (usually short lived) anticipation of which of the big teams we might get.

I hope the FA don’t introduce any kind of seeding process (I know they do already to an extent) because with our awful record we would be playing in the extra- Preliminary round in August instead of the First Round in November. Am surprised by DCs feeling as I really enjoyed the 7-1 win at Dorchester 4 years ago. I thought it did us good and built some confidence. It came after losing against FGR and we didn’t lose again in the league until Eastleigh in March. Hope we win a few, have a run, good publicity and earn a bit of money at the same time. Good publicity may also be positive if the AQs really are intending to sell. Good idea to start the thread early and build it up

When we the last time we got to the 3rd round? Or even 2nd round on that note.
We used to be fairly decent in the cup but it’s been a while now.
Must pick up a win here, build some confidence and get a streak going - Barnet & Scunthorpe are 2 very winnable games

We haven’t reached the third round since the 13/14 season when we drew Birmingham City away and lost 3-0.

Get to the 3rd round, hopefully draw a big club and earn a few quid to put towards the transfer funds.

I see the BBC are having a camera at the game hoping for an upset. Sorry but i think they will be disappointed as we are about to go on a money making cup run.

I'll be happy with mid table league and a decent cup run (4th round at least).
Perhaps most importantly though from a league perspective is to get Bonham cup tied. Sorry Jack.

Doesn't appear we have a great record against Barnet at their place, however, they have lost back to back home games.

I think first and foremost is to get a winning streak going. So to build on the fab result at Blackpool we need to maintain this over the next 4 games. Barnet isn't a place we have much luck but I think we will win and make the 2nd round without too much fuss. Exeter again is a place we don't do well at and they are doing well this year so even though it's the checkertrade I still think we need to win this one especially after they beat us convincingly pre season. Scunthorpe home is a challenge with our current home form but they are where they are for a reason and why shouldn't we get a draw at least. Charlton Away - can't see with a good unbeaten run from the games above giving us a record of only 1 loss in the past 7 games we can't get at least a draw. Here's hoping Gasheads

I'm not at all interested in Rovers winning the FA Cup, especially after the 1974 (?) Anglo-Italian Cup fiasco where Rovers were eliminated in favour of West Ham by the toss of a coin over the phone, and so were denied our rightful place in Europe. Since then I have boycotted all Rovers European fixtures. Winning the FA Cup puts us in the Europa League? Nope, not interested. I will continue to boycott all Rovers European games. Please don't try to convince me otherwise. My mind is set.

I see Barnet have that Mark Cousins in goalkeeps for them,I bet we all remember the last time we saw him play! I think this could be a very tight game,1-0 either way I reckon.

I don't think we'll try to get out of the Cup but I expect we will before Round 3.
