DC deserves a lot of respect however the current set up is just not working He certainly does for what he has achieved in his time for the club, however I doubt he will get it from some quarters. No doubt he will go and we will end up with some journeyman manager who doesn’t really care about the club. Free fall predicted combined with our current owners.

Oh well let’s all support DC and hopefully he will get us promoted from non league and 1 again. On penalties and a last minute goal. Convincing I know. These are the kind of moronic posts that need to be ignored. Thinks we got promoted because of a penalty shoot out and 1 goal, not what happened during the rest of the season When Man Utd won the Champions League final due to a last minute goal was it less impressive? Man City winning the prem with he last kick, Italy beating France to win the WC on pens less impressive etc?

I don't have much faith in the management (or the board, I wish they would leave off more), but we cannot afford to sack DC with his contract, and I have no faith in the owners to pick a replacement. We don't have a clue what is contract is to say we can't afford to sack him? Regardless can we afford to get relegated as we surely will if we lose our next two games under DC. The ALQ's helped to give us our Rovers back now they've taken it back and run off to the far east with it. We're in complete free fall as a club but we don't hear a peep from Wael nor the CEO in the local media. B-b-b-but they saved us from administration!1 (etc)

If DC goes we’ll burn through 3 managers in 18 months!

We are on our way down again. So sad we are run by people who dont give a sh** Please don't blame the owners. We are where we are purely down to DC. He signed the players, he picks the team, he decides the tactics. The club is bigger than DC and that is why he must leave sooner rather than later. Sad but true

I still don't believe sacking DC would be beneficial long term. But as every game passes by, more and more fans, myself included, are edging the other way.
I think the one clear and obvious thing is that there is not any clear and obvious action that will cure the problems we're in.
-DC is struggling -The board are non existent -The team are woefully inconsistent, - largely down to a lack of goals. But what can we even do about that right now
Its an utter mess from top to bottom and as it stands it's going to take a minor miracle to avoid the drop...
What will any other manager do that DC can't though? At best, be able to organise and motivate differently. At worst, will want to change huge chunks if personnel which we clearly can't afford to do.

Everyone just calm down and think for a second! We are where we are because of Darrell and that’s in league 1, two divisions higher than when he started his first full season in charge. Darrell is as passionate as us about OUR club and I have full faith in him. We must stick by him, when his opportunity came to move on to bigger and better things what did he do? He stuck by us, fans from all over say “there’s no loyalty in football anymore” well he’s proven there is so for goodness sakes let’s show some back. We always get knocked out the cup by lower league teams and we always bounce back and pick ourselves up in the league following this. Look at Plymouth last season rick bottom at this time and ended up almost getting in the playoffs. My point is Darrell deserves our support and if nothing has changed by January then that might change, but please Lets all stand by our leader.

DC out. Love the guy but that's the final straw for me. Though insulting DC considering everything he has done for us is low and without him we would be much worse off. I'm sure he'll bounce back and prove to be a great manager as he's still young but I don't want to remember him for when it all went wrong. I'm not sure who'll replace him or even that they'll do a better job, in fact I'm more confident it'll just make us slide faster and harder but change needs to be made. Maybe it's the ownership, maybe it's not. Whole clubs a mess Never thought I would hear that from you welcome to the DC out brigade

Last night was very disappointing but we were never going to win it the cup that is. I think its more embarrassing than anything else just taken a load of crap this morning !!
A good result at Charlton & a win against Gillingham and this will be erased from our memories
we are not a million miles off just need a bit of confidence and some of our experienced players to step up fine lines between winning & losing
I feel for DC at the moment we are not performing' too many not turning up difficult one IMO we are not playing bad football just a bit of luck & a few decisions go our way would make all the difference
I've been watching rovers for over 30 years and I've got to say DC's style of football is some of the most enjoyable I've Witnessed
everybody is blaming the transfers/owners etc.. but it's a business that's losing a lot of money & bankers are not going to allow that
So the question is does he pursue with the experienced players hoping they turn it around or give fringe/development players a chance ?
I think there is something on the horizon there has got to be but the silence is not helping
if DC has not turned it round by Jan there will be funds to change it DC is very good at smoke & mirrors damping down expectation
IMO the experienced players will come through keep the faith UTG
