Problems run far deeper than DC but I think it's time for him to go for both of our sakes. He's lost the plot.

If he walks who the f**k could get better out of this squad? Yes he’s assembled this dire bunch but IMO he deserves the chance to either a ) turn it around this season or b ) rebuild and have a go at L2 As has been said many, many times on here ‘a fish rots from the head’. We haven’t even got a training ground sorted for next season. Let that sink in. Paul Hurst? The lottery of penalties stopped him beating us and DC at Wembley. Got Grimsby up the following year. Put together a better squad at Shrewsbury than DC ever has here, unlucky not to get promoted to The Championship. Got the best out of crap we now have that DC signed like Payne and Rodman. OK failed at Ipswich but that was always going to happen.

And you shall be the self appointed forum god who decides who is talking rubbish and who does or does not deserve respect? OK then. Well the last time I had a debate like this was when you were questioning Taylor's ability, this was in L2. I championed him and the bloke is now playing in the championship. The only similarity is that you feel it is perfectly acceptable to throw around personal insults. I disagree but just to keep you happy I'll play by your rules so stick your arrogant comments up your arse and go F##k yourself. How's that? Down to your level, happy now?

Dire result tonight, poor season so far, but FFS let's put things into perspective. After 3 excellent seasons & an average one DC is struggling big time. Where is his f**kin support? A Chairman, who can only comment about the team on a radio commentary, a CEO who we never hear from, a President who probably means well, but has gone into hiding as things get tough & owners who feel it's beneath them to communicate. ISTM DC is being left out to dry by those that run the club - they should be the ones fronting the Media, giving support for DC - he cares passionately for this club, not sure any of those running the club, gives a sh**. As for doing the honourable thing ? DC has earned respect in his time here, the rest should do the honourable thing & support him in this difficult time. And as for Holloway No No No please No!!!

DC do the honourable thing and walk if you feel for us fans, there’s no dust left too dust down and the training ground we don’t learn from one day to another, thanks for the good times and very good luck to you for the future but time for the divorce. Nonsense. A poor, frustraiting evening but let's stay grounded. We've turned things around before. Our 'supporters' were very poor at the end. The support is always there it is the manager that is poor

Fair play. He doesn't hide and calls a spade, a spade. I'm sure some of our fans are looking forward to "the pitch was too wet" or "We were unlucky" after getting completely outplayed. Some won't realise what we had until it's (DC) gone Darrell Clarke post Barnet: “The mentality, the weakness of the group for me is inexcusable, but I take responsibility for that - they’re my players... I’ve been at the club a long time and I’ve seen some real dark days at the club - this is another one.” Say the right things but has not got the know-how in how to deal with jt

Why, we've watched poor football virtually all season? 'You're not fit to wear the shirt' uncalled for, for starters. It's not been great but we've no devine right to win every week. But we don't win at all

That being said I’d still stick with DC as he knows the current situation (off the field) better than anyone else. Would someone like Hurst really accept the off the field constraints?

Who is out there who has the experience of the lower leagues like our present manager? DC has not got a lot right this season but I’m backing him to sort the shirkers out and turn this season around. UTG. Hargreaves and Holloway. I would give him till xmas, however frustrating it is we didn't drop league points tonight. Fair enough but they wouldn’t by my choice. Christmas will be a massive test this season for him, a lot of points available which can make or break a season.

I wasn’t there so didn’t hear the booing etc but DC just said this: Darrell Clarke: “I’ve got to the apologise to supporters. We deserved the reaction we got at the end for the mentality of the group of players that was out on the pitch after we went 1-0 up. We deserve the flak, we’ve not been good enough for the majority of this season.” Apologies arnt good enough any more only his resignation or sacking will suffice

DC should and will do the honourable thing and get us out of this mess, he's done it before, he can do it again, I personally would back him even if we get relegated this season, which seems likely, because this board would be mad to sack him when absorbing all this sh1t that's being spouted on here, DC is not the problem with BRFC, its squarely put at the boards door, no ground, no training ground, no plan B, obviously no real understanding how much money they would have to spend to put the Gas where we want them, at least competing with City in the same division. we're further behind City than ever and on more of a level with forest green than City. i said about 3 or 4 years ago when talking about the sainsburys fiasco, we will wither on the vine without a 21st century stadium to play in, I remain convinced this to be the case while we have this utterly pathetic board in place. DC should stay and sort the on the field problems out, with a new board that's prepared to spend, we've had so many false dawns here though, so I'm not holding my breath.

Going to bed my heart can't take it, I will take the blame cos it is the club I support and I will dust myself down and go to work in the morning! I will apologise to those who have different opinions to me! ? Me I would have Olly back if only to bring some passion in the famous quarters!!

Yes, he's had patches of bad form but now it feels like we have fallen over a cliff as a football club. The poor form on the pitch combined with the lack of stadium ground progression, training ground news and absolutely no leadership or communication from those at the top, its a complete shambles and someone needs to step up and take responsibility for it.

He has indeed earned it there is no one in my opinion who could come in and get anything out of these duplicitous owners who are nowhere to be seen and have no comment to make it really is a quite disgraceful situation
