Darrell Clarke: “I’ll be out there in the dugout on Saturday unless someone decides that I’m not, picking the team up, picking the players ready to go again... I’d be first out the door if I didn’t think I could change it and turn it around...”

Who is out there who has the experience of the lower leagues like our present manager? DC has not got a lot right this season but I’m backing him to sort the shirkers out and turn this season around. UTG. Do behave yourself what has he got right this season sweet f a Obviously not a lot Einstein as I mentioned. Like I said previously, I will back and support him till the day he is forced out. My memory is still quite fresh regards this shambolic football club I support with hard earned cash, unlike some gobshites on here.

The only similarity is that you feel it is perfectly acceptable to throw around personal insults. I disagree but just to keep you happy I'll play by your rules so stick your arrogant comments up your arse and go F##k yourself. How's that? Down to your level, happy now? It's not arrogance, it's common sense.

Why, we've watched poor football virtually all season? 'You're not fit to wear the shirt' uncalled for, for starters. It's not been great but we've no devine right to win every week. 😂we don’t

Seriously? Didn’t Rovers turn him down a few seasons back?

The support is always there it is the manager that is poor I wouldnt be surprised to see someone call you out for that comment seeming as you don't go... Fine by me you all know the reason I don't go but that won't be a problem soon

The board aren't backing DC the fact that when they came in , i thought the first thing that would change would be our record transfer fee , which is shockingly still Andy Tilson back in 1992?

Dire result tonight, poor season so far, but FFS let's put things into perspective. After 3 excellent seasons & an average one DC is struggling big time. Where is his f**kin support? A Chairman, who can only comment about the team on a radio commentary, a CEO who we never hear from, a President who probably means well, but has gone into hiding as things get tough & owners who feel it's beneath them to communicate. ISTM DC is being left out to dry by those that run the club - they should be the ones fronting the Media, giving support for DC - he cares passionately for this club, not sure any of those running the club, gives a sh**. As for doing the honourable thing ? DC has earned respect in his time here, the rest should do the honourable thing & support him in this difficult time. And as for Holloway No No No please No!!! Banjo island rules ??

Hopefully we will all wake up in the morning and find that there really is a Father Christmas and that he's left us an early Christmas present and that DC has gone. Forever

DC do the honourable thing and walk if you feel for us fans, there’s no dust left too dust down and the training ground we don’t learn from one day to another, thanks for the good times and very good luck to you for the future but time for the divorce. So if we get rid of DC who do you think should take over and do a better job? We could do worse and look just over the Severn Bridge, Mike Flynn worked a miracle saving them from relegation and now he's got them to third in league 2, into the second round of the cup and that after a fantastic cup run last season, punching well above their weight. Plus he wouldn't have to move.

Why take our best midfielder off and replace with Payne, why bring Lockyer on when he’s just played 90 mins in Albania when we’re lose #losttheplot He brought Locks on in a vain attempt to convince the board he's gone fuckwit and hoping they'll sack him hes got a bit of pedigree still - he could get a job somewhere - he's done three promotions, , many managers never achieve one ! he's sick of the lack of investment and lack of support I'd imagine yes he's been poor overall with transfers but £ spent doesn't equate to the £ made selling so I'd want the sack if I was him as for this team - they deserved the pelting at the final whistle failing to lock down a 1-0 over a conf side in a replay - really? Ffs i stood at the tunnel at the end to look at the players and DC payne seemed unconcerned DC looked a worn and battered man

I've said a few times DC is probably in his end days here. Something behind the scenes has affected him and he would be better suited elsewhere. He may well have a decent career but it won't be here. There are any number of managers that could organise a half tidy side capable of beating a poor conference side but sadly it's no longer DC.
When he leaves it will be emotional but events behind the scenes have, I believe, terminally taken their toll.
Probably the only thing that is prolonging the agony all round is the fact there is no one at the helm of the club.
As for replacements, Paul Hirst would be capable of reorganising this bunch to have a fighting chance of avoiding relegation to the 4th Division

Anyone who will come on, cut the over inflated squad, get rid of DC's "un droppables". and has better contacts than DC for a start, and Stewart can go to.

Nonsense. A poor, frustraiting evening but let's stay grounded. We've turned things around before. Our 'supporters' were very poor at the end. "Our supporters were very poor!!!" They PAID, and stood in freezing cold and watched absolute crap" The booed, Oh no! How dare they!
