Probably clutching at straws a bit here but given our precarious position who can blame me?
I genuinely think he'll make the world of difference when fully fit and playing week-in, week-out. Reason being is we're already defensively sound and look much better and more free-flowing playing 3-5-2 IMO. So, coupled with Leadbitter on the other flank (who shouldn't ever be required to do any defending), THD bombing forward down the left will hopefully provide some balance to the team overall.

Maybe the next Lee Brown....? scoring the last minute goal in last game of the season that wins us the 3 pts that keeps us up??? Maybe getting a bit delusional.......π€ͺ

I have been told that THD is fully fit but we are unable to play him as he is on a pay as play deal and if we play him we go through our wage cap. The reason he can play cup games is there is a payment that will cover his salary.
We need to wait until Jan when Martin goes back to Stevenage for him to be able to play.

You don't half post some anti owners nonsense, are you seriously suggesting DC want to the trouble of naming in the 1st team squad for the recent cup game, then pretended he was injured just so he didn't have to start him on the bench? This weeks game was the first 90 mins he's played in recent weeks so it looks that he's simply not fully fit.

The whole left back situation has been a shambles. when Martin turned up he wasn't match fit, hence the red card. Personally I thought Kelly was ok. Can certainly cross the ball, not that there is anyone in the box

Personally hard to imagine. Mainly because Iβm not sure the rules would even penalise rovers for supporting a player through a long term injury. (I suspect there are exceptions)
Secondly, the player has been injured.

Strangely enough that's another thing I'll miss about DC. He never wanted to give the other team a single thing to latch onto in preparing to face us. I always respected that.

But what good did it really do when there's only 3 teams below us in Div 1! I get you don't want to tell the opposition if Bodon or Harrison was going to be play but will they really worry about THD etc. Plus if you ask a player at the ground they'd tell you anyway!
