..so that means we'll face a midfield of Cattermole, Honeyman and Power!
I've seen the challenge, he was late, but in his defence his foot wasn't up, or studs showing, but an element of one rule for big clubs and another for the rest? If it had been upheld, it would have been his third sending off this season!

They have a very large following - and after many seasons of flirting with and actual relegation, I imagine they are enjoying success - albeit at third tier level. My mate is a Sunderland fan - he is being a bit unbearably positive at the moment, and I'm not looking forward to the game in a few weeks time. They also have a huge away following 3k plus at Walsall on Saturday I believe

That is exactly the conversation I had with my mate in the pub last night when he showed me the video on his phone. As I said above, Power was late and caught the player, but he wasn't off the ground or two footed - so I guess that's why he got off - apart from the big club thing of course.

It's the Walsall player that leaves the ground and jumps into the challenge two footed. Yes he won the ball, but still a dangerous challenge. Power then catches him late, but he probably wasn't expecting him to launch himself and get to the ball so quickly.

I imagine that's why they won their appeal. There's another angle here, you can't really see Power, but the Walsall bloke is full-on karate.

They’re hoping to get a sell out on Boxing Day when they face Bradford City. 47k to witness a league one game would be quite something.

Fans like to see a winning team. Doesn't really matter what league. As mentioned on another thread Rovers would probably be better off financially near the top of div 2 than the bottom of div 1.
