Is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. This football club continually flukes its way to league one level and fails to invest in the right areas. We have never had so many backroom staff, how can the club appear so disjointed?! People say league one/two is our natural level. Without investing in areas such as training facilities and “small clubs” such as Fleetwood and Accrington investing our natural level will soon be National League. We must learn from past lessons this is not all down to DC. Where are our leaders and owners when the shehite is hitting the fan? Where is DC? In front of the mics and cameras as usual fronting up! Show some balls AQ,s!

Yeah, over the last two decades we have joined an exclusive bunch of clubs that now make luxurious cameo appearances in league 1 without the means to progress further....
And that's where we are I'm afraid....

Frustrating to say the least. I even hear some people call us a big club, the only “big” thing about this club are the loyal fans that have put up with decades of mediocrity and poor facilities to watch the games at. We must be losing many young fans right now.

Is a decent ska outfit of late 1970s early 80s.

It's down to ONE man DC, and the money he has wasted on these two tell me they have backed him. What Wael needs to do is sack DC for impersonating a Division one manager

League one is our natural level. The kids saying that the 4th division is where we should be does me tits in. Look at our history and fight for it.

History is just that, you have to move with the times and we haven't, we have stood still while others have progressed. We may have, or used to have, very good attendances for L1 but that means nowt when there are losers on and off the pitch.

Our history is League 1 with the occasional foray into the Championship. However money plays a much larger part in a football club's fortunes than it used to...and we don't have much! Our recent history reflects this, seeing us in League 2 with the odd spell in League 1. Sad, but I'm afraid it's the reality. I wish it wasn't.

We have never seen so much investment from lower level teams as in recent years. Saltford will be the next team to come up, they will replace another historically consistent league club no doubt. We need to wake up. League one our natural level? Don’t use fan base as a gauge, or facilities are worse than most League two and national league clubs.

I agree with every word you say though.

Sorry I meant Longwell Green! Seriously though how many people look at this club through historical eyes? We gave stood still for years and I fear it’s becoming too late to catch up with even the likes of a seaside town club like Fleetwood.

Shouldn’t of got rid of gaffney he’s twice as good as anything we got That “small” club below us by two tiers offered more money in wages. They also out waged Aberdeen but don’t worry this is our natural level Paul.

The likes of Fleetwood and Burton have overtaken us and there are others such as Salford waiting to do the same. Equally, most of our traditional rivals have progressed...Bournemouth, Swansea, Hull, Cardiff, Brighton, Huddersfield, Reading, even them lot down the road. We have stood still since we moved back to Bristol, but standing still when others move forward means you move backwards.

Most investors below us have more money or are willing to invest more might be the more appropriate way of putting it.
