Safari has its own block pop ups toggle bar in settings, does what it says on the label when toggled on. Sorry, nope. Not in this case. Been toggled on from Day 1 and no issues on this or any other site up to recently. And then, for whatever reason, these things just started appearing on this site (and only this site as far as I can tell). Seems I and others have had the same issue.

What search engine are you using? Interesting question thinking about it. I use the Safari icon to open up the page and then use the search bar that appears at the top of the page for browsing. Not actually sure what search engine that is tbh! Certainly I do not specify Google, Yahoo etc and then search. Having said that most of my commonly visited sites are on a “Favourites” tab anyway so usually enter this site via that. Not sure what all that means in English.....😀

Yes I had this again yesterday - using Safari on an iPhone. All seems fine again today. I had trouble with the other forum too but not any other websites...

Us mods don't have any control of how this place works regarding third parties.... We can make it look different, we can add operational features, and more importantly we can ban members, although I haven't yet found a way of banning myself (lonely nights in the desert). But regarding advertising and intrusive bots we can't do a thing....

Download spybot search and destroy. Free software and the best anti virus/adware/spyware program I've ever used. In my experience its not it replaces adware with adware of its own

We use a very expensive bit of kit supplied by sophos in our servers in the shop which we use to scan a customers computer. A Very good "Freebie" is a DOS scan using AVAST Free Anti Virus software. gets a good few !

Also had this yesterday! Cleared my cache and cookies, still got them, so wasn’t my phone, and didn’t get it on any other website/app.

I'll never buy Toshiba again it literally never worked from the moment it first turned on. Slow from the offset and unusable after about two months. Same with HP. Awful.
