Not exactly the statement that some expected, where DC blows the lid on the behind the scenes shenanigans. Exposing lies at every corner of the corridors of power. A nice statement that hopefully reflects on a generally happy time he had at our club. I'm sure he'll always be welcome back. Unless of course he ever manages at the other place. Good luck Proves again his class.

Bring back DC. Honestly, I'm still not really over it. Feeling a little disconnected from the club and don't really care how we do at the moment. Losing DC is a bigger loss than any of Matty, Bodin etc and I'm not sure I'll ever see a manager like him at Rovers again in my lifetime unless DC does come back one day I quite agree. The most important manager, maybe even person in our clubs history. No other like him for what he did for our club and the real passion he had for us as well.

As others have said, a classy and measured letter. I was especially struck by his mention of Marcus Stewart. Some, including me, have questioned the nature of the relationship between DC and MS. In this letter DC says '....supported me superbly'. It's worth noting that whilst DC and the club reached an agreement, MS looked around and asked, apparently, to be released from his contract.
