Absolutely ridiculous that people are saying as many as 10 out when it is clear that a}) we are going to struggle to bring 5 in and b)we are three or 4 players short of a good team.
Slocombe - out Don't count him as he is as good as gone anyway Smith - out Bonham - keep If We can Andre - keep
Leadbitter -Keep Partington -out
Kelly - keep Holmes Dennis - keep Martin - out Loan ends next week
Broadbent - keep Craig - keep Lockyer - keep Clarke - keep Menayese - keep Kilgour -keep
Matthews - keep Rodman - keep Bennett - keep
Upson - keep Lines - keep Clarke - out Sinclair - out Sercombe - keep Russe - keep
Payne - keep Nichols - keep Reilly - keep Jakubiak - keep Mensah - out
OK I have named 6 out but of those Mensah, Slocombe and Martin are pretty well gone. many have said Nichols but we have to remember that the new manager may well see things completely differently and also as we are unlikely to sign more than three we could well struggle for squad players which will be vital in a relegation fight. Partington, Ollie Clarke and Sinclair have all had loads of chances and whilst O Clarke impressed early on he has now drifted back to his old ways. We can get better.
I would sign a GK, a tall centre half and a centre forward as priority and if possible another forward and another winger.
Summer is the time for the new man to let more players go when he has had the chance of seeing the players for a reasonable time. All the summer signings have not had a fair run of games to judge them on and some are scapegoats for our fans.

Plus were losing two CM's but not bothering to sign any replacements, so what happens if we lost one to injury and then Lines picked up another red card etc, we could be down to just one fit CM! Goalies wise I'm pretty certain Slocombe will return next month, so it's a case of which one we can offload, I'd say Slocombe was marginally the better.

Of course we may lose Sercombe anyway so we may have to get two midfielders in. Our problem is of course that nobody may want any of our players so I dread what will happen then unless our owners have a change of hearty from what they supposedly told DC! I really feel we need 5 in but at present I have very little confidence in our owners and we will probably have to put up with what we have!!!

This is the point though. Asking for players with specific qualities is easy when you don't actually have to sign them yourself. Fans saying why doesn't he sign...*insert qualities of top Premier league player*... seem to suggest it is as simple as doing a Championship manager skills search. Pretty much anyone you get at this level will have their limitations. My point is the signings were there when we got the players in to get promoted twice and we’re not replacing them with the same standard and paying more money doing so... Our league 2 promotion team would thump our current team... No one is asking for premiership or even championship players because we’re not in that position to do so...there’s loads of players out there that we need in this team... We’ve gone from a very dominant wing attacking team to being a very narrow very predictable team and dc for some reason couldn’t work that out or completely changed his game plan and it blatantly didn’t pay off We have forwards that can’t keep the ball as their not strong enough or intelligent enough to have good link up play and to top that they don’t get themselves in scoring positions enough We have central midfielders playing out wide and there no understanding between any partnerships as they were being chopped and changed to many times A defence that’s small and couldn’t pass a ball to feet or actually have a game plan on the ball than thump it diagonal to the opposition which for one obviously gives the ball away but not only that drags the whole team out of position Apart from bonham which won’t be here long as getting a lot of attention due to his form Smith is useless to me and nowhere near me reliable and needs to go So the players we need don’t need to have premiership qualities , they just need the opposite to what we have and the same level to what we had before we sold them

I personally think we won’t get anyone apart from 2 loan players and we might lose someone like sercs or bonham and that would be the nail in the coffin

Serious response:
Slocombe - out Smith - out Bonham - keep Andre - keep
Leadbitter - out Partington - keep with some passing drills
Kelly - keep Holmes Dennis - keep Martin - out
Broadbent - want to see more - keep Craig - keep Lockyer - keep Clarke - out (sorry mate) Menayese - want to see more - keep Kilgour - give until summer to prove himself elsewhere
Matthews - keep Rodman - out Bennett - keep
Upson - out Lines - keep Clarke - keep Sinclair - out. Sercombe - keep Russe - keep
Payne - keep - give proper game time on understanding he sheds some weight after main training session. Nichols - keep - move to wing or attacking midfield Reilly - keep - give a chance Jakubiak - keep Mensah - out
Not many outs but I don't think we have been a million miles away. We're suffering from the heebie jeebies caused by the lack of strikers able to make a difference, causing undue pressure on our midfield players to score goals which is why they're hitting the post all the time. A lot of people have called for Bennett to go but to keep Alex Rodman. Yes Bennett has been going a little bit missing but so did Billy from time to time. He's hit the post about 4 or 5 times this season and if you remove the pressure I've suggested up above perhaps those would be converted. Difference between him and Rodman is he's better on the ball, a little younger, and he's hitting the post instead of blazing the ball into the sodding corner flag.

Stop this, having flashbacks of milking a cow while I was blindfolded aged 10, all I asked for was a ride on a digger but Jimmy said that was already taken 😂
