Agree , but we have been consistently losing our best players for the past few years and the replacements haven’t been better than the players we’ve let go as the transfer fees weren’t fully put pack into the playing squad so it is inevitable that the rot was bound to set in eventually. Problem is that its the same old rovers when we were hoping it was going to be different this time[under wael]. Exactly, I was taking right in by the family against my better judgement, like the old saying goes , when something is too good to be true , it genuinely is !!!

Its childishly naive to think that there are no conditions written into coughlans contract imo. We have been poor in all the home games under coughlan . We do not have any good strikers at the club. Coughlans been talking up the players because thats the only sensible option when your budget if used up and your first team squad is bigger than bristol citys but desperately short of quality, especially going forward. Somehow hes got to get players out,get players in and stay in this division before releasing numerous players at the end of the season. Thats if it's down to him by then of course. Bang on the money Bluebutterfly.. But what we've got is a yes man and a board that don't care. Based on that their can only be one outcome I'm afraid.... I don't think its fair to call coughlan a "yes man". He's taken what might be his one and only chance to manage at league level and like everyone has to work within a budget.

GC can't turn DC's crap signings around overnight, let's at least give him the January transfer window. FFS just how bad were Payne and Upson today! Why stop with them two, most of them did not have a clue Only James Clarke can hold his head up high

When clubs struggle and need to survive they call on experienced managers like, Allardyce, Hodgson or Warnock. They can handle the pressure. We had an opportunity to appoint an experience manager with a huge history with the Gas and yet many on this forum wanted to have an inexperienced manager with no real connection to the club appointed based on a few results. The football today was appalling the post match interview a joke. The pressure is on and calm headed needed not the nonsense he came out with, leave that for the fans who paid their money to watch that crap.
I hope he can turn it around but I fear not.

Getting rid of TB and keeping Craig tells me all I need to know about our current manager. Absolutely. Jombati was brilliant for Wycombe today and someone we should’ve signed 2 years ago when at Cheltenham. He won everything in the end, bullied Payne off the ball constantly and scored a typical centre halves goal. Exactly the type of player we need.

I agree that GC was a mad appointment. Im not convinced IH was the man for the job but if he brought Penrice with him we would have had a good chance. The atmosphere would be electric too. Penrice aside i wouldnt have gone for Holloway as i think his best days are behind him.

Today was our first defeat in what 6 games ? Let’s get behind him and support him , he comes across as a man who’s up for the fight and will do his best , it may or may not be enough we’ll know at the end of the season and there’s a hell of a lot of football to be played yet. I’m not throwing the towel in yet.

Grow a pair, support the Gas and stop with all the negative bollocks. We're not going down, were not going down.
