Well that was a sh*te performance saturday
What have we learned:
-Not making lots of changes to the team works a treat. Some members of Gas Chat need to sack themselves. At least the trolling on DC's team changes can now stop
- The narrative seems to have changed from "DC's crap tactics and changing the team too much" to "DC signed a load of crap players" (But does anyone really think that the likes of Payme ware DC's first choice?? )
-Our tactics are to hoof the ball in the general direction of Rodman
Other things we have learned:
- the coaching staff seems to have all come from the Under 23's, and they are in effect doing both the first team and the Development squad. Seems to me that we are on a cost cutting drive
-GC is happy with the Stadium
-GC is happy with the Training Ground
- Sercombe to Pompey is merely speculation. (Yeah, right)
Sounds to me that we are basically f*cked. I expect Sercombe to go, and we will be told "he wanted to go" GC will probably be tasked to explain. I expect a huge reduction in playing budget next season, as DS tighten the screw I expect the Development squad to be dispanded I now expect nothing to happen on the stadium front I now expect nothing to happen on the Training Ground
I do expect us to be in League 2 next season
I was a big supporter of DS but have joined the group that feels conned.
I don't buy into this nonsense that Payne wasn't DC's first choice as surely that's the same for any manager outside the top 6 Premiership every manager has to deal with signing their 2nd, 3rd,.. 10th choice, DC wasted £650K on Nichol, Payne & Mensah meanwhile Wycombe signed Mackail-Smith on a free transfer.

DC didn't negotiate the fees for all those players.

You would think DC and the HoR between them could have come up with a better 5th choice target than bloody Bakayoko and Payne surely? In Payne's defence at least he had 14 goals to his name, what was the interest in Bakayoko all about? As if the 4-0 defeat to Exeter hadn't sounded warning bells (that was my first indication that the recruitment was pretty bad) the interest in a character like Bakayoko was a cast iron sign that something had gone very wrong at the club. If the people responsible are in charge of January's activity then I am almost glad we haven't signed anyone yet.

Now tell me the bad news
if you are dyslexic, your eyes work fine, your brain works fine, but there is a little short circuit in the wire that goes between the eye and the brain. Reading is not a fluid process.

I've learnt the squad under performed under DC, we blamed DC, it's now under performing under GC, we're blaming GC.
About time we blamed the players for consistently putting in water poor performances week in week out.
1st defeat in 6 games and all the wheels have come off ??
Not really, the stats are good for GC and I'm backing him all the way. What I'm saying is, it's about time the squad got stuck in, realise we're in a battle and do something a squad should do.

Fully agree, but who is going to be brave enough to tell our delicate squad to get stuck in without an outbreak of temper tantrums and floods of tears?
Never known the Gas this good before They've picked themselves up from off the floor Here they come knocking, knocking on the door Well I've never known the Gas this good before.

Thinking about it perhaps the Crowd should take on that responsibility having paid for that privilege.
Bristol Rovers, Bristol Rovers, Time that you all got stuck in. Time that you all got stuck in.
