Apparently Harvey is doing it to increase interest and........increase crowds. 😂 I f**king hate the bloke. He must know when he says 'anything that's different is often being viewed as controversial,' that he's deliberately missing the point. He must know that that's not the reason his tournament is controversial. He must know he's being disingenuous. He must know it's just a load of sh** pouring out of his mouth and dripping down his chin. He must realise that people can see the sh** dripping down his suit. He must know people can see the flecks of diarrhoea staining his shirt. And yet he still sits there smugly. Not sure how he can do it, to be honest. Not sure how someone like that gets to lead the EFL. F**king Sontaran lady garden. The perfectly valid points you made, were completely let down by your last comment.
There is no room for prejudice in the 21st century, and you should be made to attend an inter-galactic race awareness course.

Gassy, Jack well done. Your persistence and articulate arguments are to be commended. That you persevered and put together such a strong rebuttal of what the EFL said speaks of your patience. I suppose tbf to the rep from the EFL he also replied well and answered a few of your comments. That he was unable to answer your more particular context-based questions will probably tell you that they have no counter arguments and that much of their position I should pure lay down to financial considerations which are really indefensible. And in a sense he’s probably right in that we need to get the chairmen to vote against this when they get together but as they want money I doubt that will be successful. Well done though to have made sure that Andrew Pomfret at least is aware of the concerns of genuine fans who can see beyond financial considerations. UTG! Indeed clubs will vote for it as long as it gives them a perceived financial incentive, which for the likes of Morecambe, Accrington, Newport etc you can perfectly understand. This is what angers me so much about the EFL simply stating that it's been voted for by the club chairmen. Of course it has, as they have been backed into a corner by so much top heavy finances in football coupled with the shameful EPPP and cutting of emergency loans that basically leaves lower league clubs in the cold and desperate for any financial gain they can get to keep going. Thus offering them a bigger financial incentive to allow B teams is literally bribery as Gassy put it, taking advantage of the poor fortune of lower league clubs to further the gains of rich greedy Category One clubs. Sadly as daniel states, boycotting even though I will continue to do so will not make any difference as if they really want B teams in the league structure then it will come around again and again until they offer enough cash as a bribe that the majority of lower league chairmen will not be able to refuse.

Sadly, all true. I can refuse to go and it makes not a bit of difference. So what? Our annual budget is probably what PL clubs spend on hospitality or some other project so what do they care? Even worse, conversations I’ve had with people who sit near me at Bournemouth, and have done so for many years even in the lower leagues, think it’s a good idea having U21 sides in it. They’d like Bournemouth to be invited. When I repeat the arguments that Gassy has put above they laugh and tell me to stop moaning. And when I remind them of where they came from they shrug their shoulders and imply that they’re PL now. An amazing turnaround!! UTG!

I hope we get Portsmouth away in the SF and narrowly lose by a single goal. I hope Bury get a home draw against Sunderland and win. A Pompey v Bury final sounds cack, Pompey have quite a few that wouldn't attend, we won't have to have arguements on here, they don't get the Sunderland v Portsmouth final they want and hopefully the tournament is highlighted for the disgrace it is. You hope we lose??? What a strange thing for a Gashead to say!! What sort of supporter wish their team to lose? Strange..........................

Dam right He’s doing his best to rip the heart out of the oldest most prestigious football league in the world for Premier league back handers. With people like him running the show football in this country is being slowly ruined. Slowly being the key word , he obviously feels he can push this through slowly and as quietly as possible and in a few years people will feel its normal to have -23 squads in our football league. The Blokes a lady garden.

Harvey is on Talksport midday for the draw. Hope Perry Groves and Jim White give him a grilling. Might be worth submitting some comments and questions?

That's nothing to do with the league, that's too do with this rubbish tournament. This is the third season they have been involved. People can understand the difference between the league and this tournament. If you really don’t believe the end goal is B teams in the football league I suggest you look a little harder. The below is a tweet from a Man City youth coach. In which he advocates B team inclusion in the football league and goes on to say it will ‘cause disruption’ but clearly doesn’t care. Supporting this tournament is normalising B teams in the football league structure. Enjoy Wembley if we get there but this simply isn’t for me. View AttachmentView AttachmentI was half coming round to the idea of going to the semi final and potential final lately as I hate knowing we're playing up the road from where I live but I can't go out of principle. After reading that I'm glad I've stuck to my guns. Man City should remember where they came from.

Really think this sort of bullshit, I’m all right mentality should be given greater prominence to show the arrogance of those in their ivory towers.
