Sounds like there's no real plans for a new stadium: All a bit depressing to listen to ahead of tomorrow's big game. At least he gave some honest answers, unlike a few in the past found it very refreshing .. depressing to hear we had a top half budget which was completely wasted

Less waffle and seemed to answer questions in a straightforward manner.
Was that a club tie he had on.

So we are looking for a trading ground? So what was the point of purchasing the site that was going to be called the Colony? Another complete waste of money, in addition to the London office?

My question : How much pleasure did you get when you sacked DC My answer would have been he should have gone the month before

Did anyone ask him why did they get rid of DC? The man to save us? That man did save us

From what? From he took us in to the conference, spent all of this seasons budget on dross, and only went after we lost 4-0 at home to doncaster

Why have DS bought it if they are not going to turn it into a training facility, something the site has permission for, though not yet what we want.

It rarely goes down It is land that will only be allowed for sport and recreation, with possible limited development, so it will never make DS large sums of money.

Youtube is your friend if so. We also had a player which assisted in taking us down to the conference too, his name was Lee Brown, but you never believe it, he became a goal scoring hero.

This whole regime, including MS role as CEO is nothing short of a sham IMO. He is peddling the same nonsense as Hamer once did except there are no landing lights and runways now, the plane crash landed and its currently on fire and no one has rung the brigade. Yet.

A totally underwhelming exercise as far as I am concerned. Apart from justifying what he does, we did not learn anything other than what we already knew.

The land was bought is owned by DS whereas the London office is paid for by the club. During the 2017 financial year Bristol Rovers made purchases of £127,566.00 on behalf of Dwane Colony Ltd. At the end of the financial year Dwane Colony Ltd had not repaid that money which was shown as still being owed to Bristol Rovers.

Unbelievable! If we can't afford to build on a piece of land we already own, how the f..k can we afford to buy another piece of land and build the same thing on that! One thing's for sure the building cost by the time they get round to doing anything will be far more expensive than the original plan for the Colony. The fanbase are clearly being treated with total contempt as regards the intentions of Wael and co.

Fair play to Starnes and the club for putting this out, as any communication at all is welcome as far as I'm concerned, even though it didn't really tell us much more than we already knew.
The Colony is the biggest mystery to me, and I wish they could just be honest and front up as to why they didn't submit a planning application when they said they would. Hamer told GT it was because of increasing costs, which has never been mentioned since then and the comment seems to have been brushed under the carpet. If that is indeed true then it begs the question of how the club ever think they'll be able to afford to put in the necessary infrastructure that they keep saying is "an aspiration".
Granted perhaps plans are afoot in the background that mean the colony is no longer a go-er, and other parties are involved hence the lack of info, but that still doesn't explain Hamer's comment to GT.
