Why did the club state at the AGM last year that planning application would be submitted within the next few weeks. Since then, nothing has happened. Were the club ever planning to submit an application in that time frame, and if so why did it not happen. If not, why did they provide false information?

Why doesn’t he just appear on Having a Gas? Twentyman has invited Wael for a while now, so why doesn’t he just go on instead. Being cynical, is it because the club can decide which questions will be be asked?

Why doesn’t he just appear on Having a Gas? Twentyman has invited Wael for a while now, so why doesn’t he just go on instead. Being cynical, is it because the club can decide which questions will be be asked? The thing is that now more than ever it will be so bloody obvious if he dodges certain questions and only gives out the clubs future stance on Christmas jumpers and sausage rolls.... I'm quite intrigued what will come out of this.... |

I didn't attend but was reliably informed by nobby on here a few months back that that was quoted. I believe it was Hamer but I can't be sure on that. |

It's just the majority of fans don't believe what they said. He said they were looking at a site where the training ground and stadium would have been together. But it didn't happen. If that's true, it's obvious they would hold back on the Colony while looking into it. If they are still looking into our options at different sites, I expect it's still on hold. How can they go from supposedly planning to submit a planning application with a few weeks, to then thinking of ditching the site altogether in favour of finding a site for both stadium and training ground together? Plus Hamer was quoted as saying the training ground was effectively shelved for now as the cost of developing it was considerably higher than anticipated. They can't all be accurate reasons surely? If the reason for not developing is genuinely because the cost is too high, then they should front up and admit that they didn't perform due diligence. If it's not the reason, they should front up and say that the Chairman was mistaken and spoke out of turn. |
