Job will be taken be somebody with strong premier league links that can push the u23 agenda harder! Money will always win! Or they might not push the agenda, as why part with Harvey if that's the case.

But I’m not sure it is to the powers in the EFL. And it won’t even register with the PL. His replacement will be very similar I suspect. UTG!

Whoever comes in next it will be another suit looking to make money. If it’s an ex player or manager who actually understands and cares about the game I’ll wear full shithead kit and buy an 82ers season ticket.

One job, Shaun.
You had one feckin job.
Persuade these numpties in charge of Boggleswick United that they could watch their feckin pub sides play Chelsea and Spurs, and then we could move onto phase 2 of the Grand Plan.
And what have we got?
Crowds at an all time low. Loads of bad press. Rumbled by the fans.
It's a disaster.
You're fired.

Does anyone think Checkatrade have actually benefitted from their sponsorship of this format?
I have to be honest and say I can't remember if I was aware of them before they became patrons of the trophy, and if anything it's put me off them. Silly, I know, but like alot of advertising I view it with association (like Sainsbury's, for instance?) and wonder if anyone else thinks along the same lines?

I know mate. I’m clued up on what a bunch of money grabbing water taking businessmen our FA are run by I’d even say I’d do that if the next appointment wasn’t just another one of those fat suits with no idea about football. No chance you’ll see me in a Red shirt at Ashton gate no chance the FA will ever be run by people who care about the game or understand the things that make it or maybe I should say used to make it so great. The FA is selling the soul of English football down the river for premier league money and whilst this boycott might make little difference it could make just enough to stop things in their tracks a little bit and we might be able to preserve the league structure we’ve got.

The future will be a world league the top 20 world clubs. Champions league will remain and thatll lead to a devaluation of the premier league and ultimately the efl.. Each club with there own streaming of games rights. Owners of big clubs have no interest in the future of small fry clubs.. Money and power is there mantra!

God I thought the checkatrade conspiracy theories were bad enough! It's been talked about for years, just like Rangers and Celtic joining the English League. The Premier League is too powerful and rich at the moment for even the big teams to contemplate leaving, at least yet.

Silly, I know, but like alot of advertising I view it with association (like Sainsbury's, for instance?) and wonder if anyone else thinks along the same lines? Yep I do - the mere fact the crowds were mentioned in the press for this unpopular format meant checkatrade got publicity which is all they wanted and needed. Job done. Like Sainsbury's for me by association I think of them as an unethical retailer that will do anything to stop rivals building stores in prime sites to the detriment of the general public including football fans. Horrible company.
