I was also at the match, and I think a commentary may have helped explain where our midfield were for 90 minutes!

Why would you attend a match and listen to a commentary at the same time? Bizarre. Not as Bizarre as asking the question I don't understand. I listened to 10 mins of talksport and neither of them knew diddly squat about Rovers. So why would a regular rovers watching fan, listen to 2 blokes who presumably looked at some player pics for 5 mins prior to the match, telling him what's going on. I don't know why any regular fan would listen to any commentary, which if local is basically bias, uncritical and frankly not very good. I don't think this is a bizarre question.

Having listened to the talksport commentary { being critical in general of radio Bristol usual coverage ) I must say I was disappointed with what I heard . They obviously hadn’t done their homework on rovers , kept referring to them Bristol, which in itself is infuriating - maybe blood is thicker than water after all ! Utg.

I listen to Talksport driving home from work in the evening, mainly because it is the only sport related channel, because of their association with Sky their focus is almost 100% on the Premiership. Earlier this week they were running a promo on our game, they said it was Coventry versus Bristol CITY! Didn't hear it again, the following day it had been corrected. I can't think of anything worse than listening to those idiots while watching a live game.
