Genuine question.
Just interested how the recent turmoil could be affecting ST sales.
I don’t think it’s unfair to say that this season started with quite a lot of expectation, and high ST sales. We’d had two promos, two stable years in mid-table and many management and back room staff had been around for 4+ years. People were obviously hoping for a play-off push and some exciting football at the Mem.

I've said this in another thread but I've had one all season in the Dribuild stand and won't be renewing. £415 is just far too much and far too unjustifiable given the results/performances on-field and seemingly lack of direction off. I've had season tickets in the terraces for seven years before and won't be doing that again for a variety of reasons nowadays (rain, standing, knees, etc.) so it's seat or nothing for me. And sadly it's now nothing.
Doesn't make me less of a supporter and I still want/hope the club succeed but I won't be there at the Mem on a regular basis next season to watch it #iFollow
Respect that some will disagree with my stance though.

We are a third division club like we have been for however long in our history
Things have been worse, things have been more disappointing and it never stopped me before

By definition is does make you less of a supporter if you're withdrawing or scaling back your support for the club. Doesn't make you less of a fan though obviously. Sorry that you're having issues with your knees which sounds nasty.

I have always bought a ST since I retired. Prior to that I didn't have one due to matches clashing with meetings and other work commitments. This is now the first time I have not yet renewed using the Early Bird option. Still thinking ........................

I renewed in the first week of early bird. I’ve nothing else to do with my Saturdays, so it’s a week in Porto for the Nations League finals with England and then back for a brand new season in August. As Mr Parker says above, it’s been a million times worse, its been a hell of a lot better. But that’s Rovers, we are where we’ve spent the majority of our history and we’ve just endured (by far) the worst season since 2013/14. So no panic button here yet, happy to renew and intrigued to see how GC operates in the transfer market and puts together HIS OWN Rovers squad for the next campaign.

Will still watch games on iFollow and go to the odd home games as and when I feel like it, just not committing £415 when I'm not seeing value-for-money or being entertained. Hopefully those that have renewed do get entertainment! FWIW, I'm a curse anyway. Only years recently where I haven't had a ST were the NL/L2 promotion campaigns. When we're promoted to the Championship next May, just remember you're all welcome on behalf of neilv93

Just can’t justify it ... Football is woeful, the club is rudderless and those ‘at the top’ have a complete disregard for the fans and it genuinely hurts .
My 13 year old lad just doesn’t want to go anymore as he is bored and hates seeing his team in his own words .... “ Not care any more”... gets him really down especially when you’ve gone away, spent all day travelling etc etc... Not one home game have we left early and let’s be honest the majority have been dire.
We won’t be back to the Mem I sense even if the club turns it around somehow next season he has lost a connection with football...we are certainly not fair weather fans but the deal was always we would go together.
I’m gutted deep down but understand his emotions, entertainment of teenagers has moved on rapidly and football for the lower leagues probably hasn’t. I will support from afar instead from next season.

I hope your 13 yr old maintains his interest in football and especially The GAS. My 12 yr old supports them but loves playing more than watching.

I will support from afar instead from next season. *Watch on, not support. Given the existence of lower league clubs is dependant on income through the gate, it's an important distinction to make. That's fair enough I suppose, it's been a poor season and the football clearly hasn't been great. I'd take exception to the idea that the team don't 'care any more' however. The reality of supporting a lower league club is that your team won't be successful every week indefinitely. 24 clubs in this division and one team will finish top, four will get relegated. Perhaps teenagers not seeing their side win every week in this age of instant gratification is a valuable life lesson? Reading over some of the threads post Rochdale game has left me quite perplexed. The quite obvious sense of entitlement is simply bizarre given the recent history of the club and the level we are playing at. Two thirds of clubs in League One have experienced Championship football since 2000 (16/24) and we're one of the third which hasn't. Furthermore 7 clubs have played in the Premier League since it's inception. Since 2000 (19 seasons) our average league position in the league ladder is 72nd (4th in League Two) which seems to evade many. I'll be delighted if we secure League One football next season and it'll give us a platform to build on going forward.

Had one last season and the season before and the season before...get the picture.
Seriously debated in my own head whether renewing was the logical thing to do but as a supporter of a lower division club need to accept that lower division players have a ceiling, those that don't move on quickly.
The only thing THAT BUGS THE sh** OUT OF ME is the lack of communication from anyone above Coughlan. Has someone re-charged Stearns' battery yet or found a way of discovering where our great leader has gone?
Lower division football or Rugby league? Lower division football won again.

Unfortunately I will be purchasing one next season😂not been able to attend as much as I’d of liked this year, As much as the gas infuriate me 90% of the time I can’t seem to stay away !!! I didn’t turn my back on them in 2014 so I won’t do it now , regardless of what division we’re in , I shall be there , be it in the premier league or on the bloody downs. UTG !!!!!!!
