The regulator has blocked their asda project. Now they can feel what it's like to have a dream crushed!

It's more of a shame that Asda didn't pull out to ruin their dreams
But I'll take it

Oh dear, how sad, never mind. Shop at Lidl and Aldi and hasten Shamesbury's demise into the void.

Gutted for them. Couldn't have happened to a nicer company.

We went from being livid with Sainsburys (after they pulled the plug), to saying it was a blessing in disguise (after the 2nd promotion and Wael), now we're back to thinking what might have been?

I haven't spent a penny in there since they did the dirty on us, be interested to know how many others are still avoiding them. They didn't 'do the dirty' on us. The economy and changing shopping habits did the dirty on them, and they didn't want to pay us for something they no longer required. Every single large company in Britain would have done the same if presented with a leaky contract with get-outs. As would virtually every citizen in Britain if faced with a legal way of avoiding paying for an item they haven't yet had delivered, and no longer want. Boo boo. I still shop there.
