Liam looked rather uncomfortable in his reply when he was asked about his form and the position he has been playing. He wouldnt comment which indicated to me that he is not happy with GC.

Isn't he (like most) out of contract?

Will be surprised if he is here next season I'd be gutted to lose the Sercombe of 2017/2018 but less worried about losing the 2018/2019 version.

It's a mystery what has happened to his form this year. He clearly has the ability to get goals from midfield, which is a priceless gift that we benefited from last season. Unfortunately, if the goals dry up, as they have this year, he offers little. He's certainly been given more of a chance to regain that form than some others have been this season.

Liam leaving would leave a Sercombe sized hole in the squad.

He's apparently blaming his form on taking one for the team playing on the wing, but where else can a midfielder player who can't tackle actually play at league level?

But this season I don't think he's been any better when playing behind the strikers than when he's been on the wing. I don't think playing him on the left is that bad an option provided Rodman (a more touch line hugging wideman) is on the other wing. Playing from the left, coming inside on to his stronger foot with THD overlapping should in theory be quite effective?

He's been playing at the top of the diamond formation for 3 months, and has been somehow even worse than he was at LW. He'll be gone in the summer, a real shame given how good he was last season, but his performances this season have been absolutely dreadful.

Hasn't delivered this season. Will be on a good wage. Can't play 442 effectively with him. Shame but need to get rid to move on.

I'd say he's been (marginally) better out wide this season. Perhaps he should look at himself and the effort he puts in at times. Wouldn't hear Sincs complaining.

Would a shame to see him go as playing at his best he has been superb for us, but recently he has been poor. Would prefer to keep him over Rodman.

Blackpool at home when he played behind the front 2 ... back to his best .
Didn't he get dropped at Oxford for 6 games because he wasn't happy with the position he was playing.
Then he joined us .... never understood playing him on the wing.
If we brought wingers into the club, I still think sercombe would do the job playing in a central attacking roll.

I'd keep him, without a doubt.
Let's face it, there aren't many better players we could afford.
If we could sign a good LW we could move Sercombe back to his natural position. Going forward we'd be a force with JCH, Sercombe & a good winger

Agreed. Knowing us though, he'd have an amazing season & we'd have to sell him for 50k in January

I was talking to a first team player on Wednesday and it isn’t all happy campers at the moment. Concerns have been voiced about how we play and who we play where apparently. But it’s a case of getting to the end of the season and rebuilding.
It was said that there are going to be a fair few departures and a bit of a rebuild job.
