My understanding is the JCH Buyout Clause could only of been activated had Rovers gone down, so I guess we will not sell unless huge money is offered.

You must be new here... Seriously though, probably sell him to someone like Hull for 10x £100k instalments in classic Gas fashion.

It’s true, my mate lives next door to him and told me he heard him on the phone to Hamer one morning talking about it, I believe the buy out clause is in the regain of 400k

Have Ipswich got a clause in Ellis's transfer IF they go down?? Seriously have they paid the whole fee-whatever that was?

No my understanding isn't flawed a senior Rovers player told me. With a smile on my face I suggested we should only accept 5 million. The Rovers player also smiling suggested 10 million.

Glad to get the Snaps in at last.

Well we know what happened the last time one of our strikers was rated in the 10 million bracket

Have you ever considered that the smiling senior Rovers player may have been winding you up? or that we would have looked to cash in him anyway if we'd gone down?

Slightly pedantic but I believe the instalments are paid Annually over the length of the players contract, whatever that might be.

Only one things certain if he keeps scoring... he won't stay at Rovers long.. We shall see but we have him under contract so any purchasing club will have to pay our evaluation. Personally I hope JCH is with us for a long time he is a handful, even if chances do not fall to him he contributes by brining others into play, opposing defenders do not have it easy against him
