Interestingly, I noticed earlier that GC has fallen from 5/1 (last night) to 5/4 for the muff job? Obviously could be nothing but that is some fall in price...

Now favourite at 5/4 for the job, Ian Holloway and Darrell Clarke in second and third funnily enough. Normally I wouldn’t believe a manager would be willing to make the switch to a similarly sized club that could be playing a division lower next season but given his comments in the last press interview about “Irrespective of what happens to Graham Coughlan, this club is league one next season” and his emotional attachment with Plymouth, we’ll see.

Wouldn't be against it, certainly if we received some compensation.

He's done fantastically to keep us up but I wouldn't be heartbroken if he left, especially with the whole summer for a new boss to come in, bring in their own players and stamp their authority on the squad tactically. What will be, will be.

Why on earth would he want to go there? It would be just like being at Rovers but with more fans, a better stadium, and their own training ground.

If he was to leave I want Holloway Coughlan will probably get us playing poor football but keep us up next season. Holloway would get us playing nice football but take us down. Why ? It’s in the history books.

Have Plymouth got the money to buy out the contract of a manager with 2 years on his deal still?

Don't have more fans, don't own their own training ground. They probably do have more fans than us considering they are a one club city and have half of Devon and all of Cornwall as their natural catchment area. I know that just like around here that area is infested with pathetic gloryhunting parasites who have no interest in their local club(s) but nevertheless their crowds are 15% higher than ours this season and over the last 5 years they have been 10% higher.
Also they have Harpers park training facility in Central Park and the new Manadon Hub that has just opened that they will be using too. argylecommunitytrust.co.uk/manadon/overview/
They like us have never come anywhere near to achieving their possible potential but come next season after the old grandstand has been redeveloped they will have a smart modern all seater stadium with a capacity more than 50% greater than what we have and facilities incomparable to the embarrassment that we have.

Completely agree with this sadly. I cannot understand how Plymouth keep underachieving as much as they do. They should easily be Top Half L1 in my opinion. I'd say the Gas and the Muff are quite similar in terms of how much potential is there, which is constantly unfulfilled.

Ollie way out in front in fans poll, but he 's also almost top in a poll to see who they dont want! that's Ollie for you ,just like Marmite!if GC went there we would certainly miss his defensive coaching but good luck to him, get ready for the return of the Messiah also known as DC!

I see. When it gets tough they want DC or GC.
Glory hunters.
I don't seem to remember them sniffing around when we had Buckle and McGhee.

GC has done the required job of keeping us in league one , for which I am grateful ( I still believe DC would of kept us up but that’s by the by ) If there was even the slightest possibility that Holloway could return back to where he belongs i would quite literally be over the moon. Nothing against GC but I genuinely believe he’s not the guy that will improve us , I think that’s the one and only Holloway!!!

Their training ground is worse than ours, apperently there budget is smaller than ours as well. There ground is better, but that's about it really. GC lives in Sheffield as well, so he would be moving even further away from home. Plus they could be in league 2 next season. I would say it would be a sideways move for him.

That's there community department. Don't ours use better facilities than our first team??? Lol Easier to grants and funding etc. I worked for them in Cornwall and Carn Brea that they are talking about, is just a local leisure centre they use. Facility in Plymouth looks decent though, but that is for there community department. First team use to rent a pitch, that didn't have changing rooms a few years ago. Not sure if that's changed.
