Luke Daniels Carl Regan Neal Trotman Jerel Ifil Jim Patterson Craig Stanley Dave Martin Alan Gow Luke James Bradley Goldberg Rory Fallon Your dream team or nightmare side? But tbf I thought Gow was ok and had he not broken his leg we would likely have stayed up and Neal Trotman was good in Oct/Nov of our Conference season. His problem was a dodgy knee and he couldn’t keep himself fit. UTG!

I said at the time that JW had lost his mind letting Eliot Richards go as he was doing quite well at that time and replacing him with a BUPA loyalty card member was doomed. btw where is Eliot Richards now? I know he was working at a gym and playing non league a few years ago but haven't heard anything for a while. Such a shame he became ill as was a talented player.

Yes, I know what you mean but in the end it was a broken leg and not his general inability to keep fit that messed us up. And somehow we never had a re-call on Eliot Rs loan to get him back leaving us completely b*******. I saw Gow in a few matches before his injury and he looked ok, certainly better than what we had and as you say Richards was ok. Still summed up what we were at the time, a mess. UTG!

Been at Hereford for a few seasons now after a short stint at WSM. Hilariously, before that he was with Stuart Campbell at the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the States.

Hope he's doing well and earning a few quid. Easy to think "where did it all go wrong" but I guess he is probably just grateful to be alive and well.

Luke Daniels Carl Regan Neal Trotman Jerel Ifil Jim Patterson Craig Stanley Dave Martin Alan Gow Luke James Bradley Goldberg Rory Fallon Trotman's inclusion is an insult, really helped steady the ship in the first third of the Conference season. Real shame that he had to retire after coming off against Torquay.

Literally dozens of centre backs worse than him, always think he doesn't get the respect he deserves. Was keeping Macca out the side when he got injured!

Tbf I couldn't think of anyone else (only been watching Rovers since 2006) off the top of my head and Barnet away - I think Trots' debut - always stands out as an awful performance!

Oh he was dreadful that day.
I'd have plenty in front of him, it's the sort of shout that reminds me of the bloke that said "Ellis Harrison is not one of Rovers top 100 strikers of all time" at Southend. When I asked him to name 100 better he named three.

Trotman v Barnet and Ifil v Swindon was my thinking. Two of the worst performances from any player I've seen don the quarters.

Didn't Branson score on his debut?
Talking of poor performances from central defenders - remember David Lee (Bristol born Chelsea player)? Holloway brought him in to play in a back five and he was all over the place - clearly had lost fitness, confidence, everything - what a disaster!
