With Bonham being released by Brentford perhaps he’s one of the players Posh say they have already signed but Ferguson isn’t saying who yet. Esp as they have transfer listed Aaron Chapman. Don’t want another Posh cast off but Chapman was ok for us when he was here but would prefer Bonham. But I would have thought we’d have announced it if Bonham had agreed a contract with us. Nelson and Tafazolli would be good but do we need another Posh player? UTG! I personally don't care what club Tafazolli comes from. Good players are good players and I reckon he is one. However, I think he must already have a move lined up to a bigger club.

Only reason I remember we had Leadbitter in the conference season is because I remember the confusion on here after the guy we had on trial wasn't signed and then we grabbed leads despite most of us thinking the first guy looked good.

New spine of the team for me. Gk, commanding Centre Half, creative midfielder and a strike partner for JCH.
Any additional positions would be helpful but not at the expense of the above.

I like the look of Him Wes, high on your list as well ? He's certainly a player that has caught my eye this season. Other players that can play wide I'd be interested in are Charlie Kirk (Crewe), Josh Morris (Scunthorpe, out of contract), Will Buckley (Bolton, out of contract), Jon Taylor (Rotherham, out of contract), Sean Scannell (Bradford), Morgan Rogers (West Brom, possible loan), Luis Longstaff (Liverpool, possible loan), Graham Carey (Plymouth, out of contract) and Danny Mayor (Bury, out of contract).

Ryan higgins. I remember he looked very promising at the time. Was it him that had to quit the game a year or so ago because of a heart condition?

I like the look of Him Wes, high on your list as well ? Willmott certainly impressed for Newport in the FA Cup, but I had the impression that he doesn't turn it on enough in the regular games. He's the sort of player who would play a blinder 1 in 10 but then be pretty average the rest of the time. I'm more than happy to be corrected on that though as I have only gone by the limited amount that I've seen and also his career stats. He's not a spring chicken and so it's a mystery why his talent hasn't taken him higher up the leagues already?

I think i would be disappointed if we didnt sign at least one winger. We currently only have Rodman... 6 or 7 signings is what we need Keeper CB Creative Mid Two wingers Striker Wouldn’t be opposed to another RB/LB and any others

I've only seen him in three or four 90 minute games recently and he impressed in all of them, but maybe he hasn't been so eye catching the rest of the time? I'm sure Tommy Widdrington will be well aware of him and seen him more than us to make a better judgement call.

We are losing some big characters and leaders on and off the pitch that will need to be replaced. I hope the manager will be sufficiently backed in the market.

Looking at other teams retained lists and surprised to see Moses Odubajo being released from Brentford. I know he's had a serious knee injury in the past, but he seemed fairly regular in their team this season. I expect a Championship team picks him up, but whilst we're just discussing players we'd like who are out of contract, I think he'd be a considerable upgrade at RB.

Not sure "creative" is high on GC's list. He's mentioned he wants to play a high press game and previously mentioned wanting to get more pace and physicality into the team. Consequently I can see TW being much more successful with GC's shopping list as footballing ability seems to be quite low on the list of attributes needed. If he's really struggling he can always recruit a couple of bruisers minding the night club doors and a couple of runners from the Bristol athletics scene.
