Well I went to the shop today to renew my season ticket. When I got arrived there was one lady behind the counter. she informed me that my season ticket on the North terrace was £195. I am over 65 (just) and I replied really? Yes she said they have gone up £40. I looked at her and said. "I wont bother then." She looked very shocked that someone dared not to pay this amount. But I have news for her, last season I paid £141.50p, so if it has gone up by £40 then her sums are wrong.
To most people £40 isn't a lot, but £195 is in one go. This month my council tax has gone up to £261 a month, my van tax was £240, my car insurance £330, Oh and British gas wants £550 because I dared to leave them. Tricky time for me at the moment.
More importantly we have just witnessed a season where they played like prima donna pansies in the first half and coal miners in the second, digging out points. What are we going to get next season? Who knows but we do have the opportunity to see Nichols get his usual 1 goal.
Division One (concessions)
Sunderland £220. Seated Bury £140 seated Oxford £179 seated
Aston Villa £230 seated
Bristol Rovers £195 standing.
Yes I know I missed the "renewal date" but someone told me it was extended until the 13th. I tried to do it on line, but my password is wrong as is my e mail address, so I thought I would open a new account, sorry my email address is in use.
There's lots of things to do on saturdays. I look forward to finding them out.

How do you owe British Gas 550 quid for leaving? Well they say I owe then £395 for gas and £156 for the electric. I have asked them to send evidence that those figures are correct, but received nothing (Surprised?)

Easy to build up that amount of debt after not being billed to a proper read for a couple of years. Best way to get around it is to use the devils devices (also known as smart meters - which stop all this from happening). Switching away from British Gas always helps though.

I notice the prices you put up for those clubs are early bird prices!!! Yet Rovers price you put up is after the early bird discount!!!
Early bird for Rovers was £150........

If there was a smart meter for the amount of decent home football paying season ticket holders viewed last season the club would owe thousands!

Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good rant! Basically the early bird price for Rovers has increased by less than £10, which is less than 40 pence a game.

So the season ticket price actually went up £8.50 or 6%, comparable to most utility bills increases this spring. Regardless £6.52 per match doesn't seem an extortionate price to me. Given the OP is a regularly user of the forum it's hard to believe he missed the threads on here referring to the deadline date.

Just use your old season ticket card because the card reader wasn't working again last Saturday and some bloke just pressed a peddle to let people in

Yeah, maybe set up a direct debit with the club, and after each game they can tell us how much they are charging for it. There'd be a lot of bankrupt Liverpudlians this morning.

Under DC we had the best home record for 3 years (even better than Liverpool's!) then some fool decided we needed a new pitch!

I am waiting for British Gas to get back to me. I did a meter reading in March. As for smart meters. We have an electric one, but they still want us to read it and although we have a big old gas meter in the cupboard the bloke who came re the smart meter said there wasn't room for a smart meter in the cupboard. Just like the man who came re out loft insulation. We told them we have a VERY high ceiling. bloke turns up with step ladder. Refuses to use my ladder. Nine months later another bloke turns up with a long ladder and is so fat he cannot get through the hatch. Gets down and says "you will never get a roll of insulation through that hatch. What about half a roll I said. He replied if you break rolls up they lose their insulation power.
and that my friends is BRITISH GAS.

How about Frome Town, I'm sure they must do a cheap season ticket.
