Think he would be a good signing. Will improve like Ellis imo.

"are in talks to sign dynamic forward Alex Jakubiak on a permanent basis"
BP seem to be pushing GC's comments a step further than he actually said last night, it sounded like GC's had talks with AJ before he returned to Watford but he's shown little interest in signing for us so far, unlike it seems Bonham.

BP? The most reliable source of Football information? I'd rather we signed Bonham than Jakubiak.

I would rather we don’t get him back and allow Deon Moore room to compete

I'd like four strikers next year. JCH, Nichols, Moore and one new addition of good quality to come in as number one.
I believe Reilly came in as a freebie so not the end of the world if we didn't get a fee for him or had to loan him out for the remainder of his contract,
Jak didn't get too many chances but what little I did see of him didn't really impress me. I think there will be better out there.

I think this is positive if only as an indication to GC's potential style of play next season. AJ is a striker that will only benefit from the ball on the deck. Had we been linked to footballs equivalent of Magic Johnson i would be worried. Of course we already have a magic Johnson! Now Tilly, before you pipe up i am not referring to Harry potters c@ck! I realise that this may sound pedantic but we actually DO need a 'Magic Johnson'. Magic Johnson was a point guard, basketballs equivalent to a dynamic midfielder / playmaker, or American footballs quarterback. Admittedly he was very tall for a point guard. I suspect you mean a 'shaquille o'neal' or some such power forward / centre.

Also Shaq would not fit in with my harry potters c@ck joke!

Was told by a recently released dev squad player Jakubiak is on £5k a week at Watford, would obviously need him to take a drop in wages or Watford to subsidise for a move to happen in that case.
