Nail on head. Unsuccessful people always have a list of excuses. Re DC, I've said it for ages. He REALLY had passion to get us into the championship and really thought he could. If, just for one second, people can divorce the downturn in football results from DC himself, they will know that DC left because he was at the end of his tether over expectations, promises, plans etc. Hard to know exactly how far that affected results etc (and of course I'm not suggesting he and his tactics were perfect) but there is no doubt that he let it get to him and the position was untenable. Had he been older and wiser he might have been more patient and still in the job What's the point of patience with people who cannot or will not deliver?

Popped into the shop today to purchase a few things. Got chatting to staff who said season ticket sales are well down on this time last year :-(.

We will be lucky to get 15 games from some of the ex ST holders!

I have already planned some holidays/events for next season before the fixtures are out.
In previous years I have always waited until the fixtures are out before planning these. It's OK, I have renewed my season ticket, so no loss to the club.
If we get new custodians quickly, my hopes for the future will be enhanced.

Genuine question, if you're a fan who's debating whether or not to buy one, what would sway you in the direction of buying one?
Is it the football? Price? I'm sure both together influence. Obviously last season was a bad one, would a boring mid table finish next season sway you to buy? Or do you want to challenge a bit more?

A plan from the football club owners that we could all believe in..... Constant NON communication from the family don't help I could put up with similar football to last season if we could see the light at the end of the tunnel, but sadly somebody has stolen the Tunnel

My god we could do with a cup run!
Seriously though, we do appear to be heading one way...
The solution is clear, but certainly not easy! A nice new stadium will not only drastically increase match day revenue, but of course if done correctly will bring in all sorts of new revenue streams to the club.
I guess we just have to hope that there is serious work being done on this behind the scenes, as in our current setup with our current home I do fear for our future.

Hardly surprising, the board need to deliver something otherwise it will be same old Rovers again. People will lose interest if there nothing to believe in, as much as we are Gas, it gets to a point where you have enough of being fed the same sh**. its NOT just the currents boards fault, we have been stagnant for years and people are getting bored now of waiting.

Companies house have confirmed that rovers have submitted their accounts, little bit of good news. There is nothing to get overly excited about. The strike off notice was an automatic ping by CH because as of last Friday, nothing had been uploaded, but Grant Thornton have said they had submitted them. So all this excitement is effectively over nothing. That strike off notice will also probably disappear once they realise the dates correlate.

Definitely nothing to get excited about when we have debts probably approaching 12million if losses of 3 million for last year are correct. At least accounts have now been filed and we are a little less shoddy than the financial expert said the clubs accounting is, still not good though.
