Ooh the BP finally has something they have found themselves to write about. Bully for them. The papers will write what they want anyway regardless of fact.. thats why they sell such sensationalist headlines. The accounts were submitted on time as confirmed by the accountants and it was only the bank holiday weekend that triggered the automatic reply from companies house. How much of those facts do you want to misinterpret to bash the board even more? People will know here that in the past I haven't been their greatest fans but even I can see through some of the stupidity being written here. I don't think anyone was suggesting the accounts WERE submitted in time. They were submitted late. But not as late as some thought due to holiday / backlog. They weren't submitted late. The deadline Thursday before the bank holiday to submit them, which they were, the delay was at Companies House End, not ours. This was explained. If they were late we would have had penalties imposed by CH. If you need more time to compile the accounts then you can always apply for an extension anyway.

OTIB are going to just love this news There's a recognised psychological condition for Gasheads who care about what OTIB think. It comes from spending too much time reading their forum and giving a sh**. It leads to not knowing whether you're really in south Bristol or not. It's called Stockwood Syndrome. A gas stronghold back in the day of course... Agree, who gives a f**k what otib thinks. The thing that worries me IS that the true value of the site could probably cover the debt of £17.5m rather than just being at its book value (is it really just £11.1m ?) That may yet persuade Hani at the end of this coming season if nobody comes in the buy the club and leave them with either a small profit or manageable loss, to flog the site whether a new one is identified or not.

Doesn't make for good reading, lots of negative1 figures, down 3mil past 2 years. The AGM could be interesting.
Look forward to more working hard behind the scenes and confidentiality agreements being spoken of.
Can only hope there is someone waiting in the wings, we are sliding one way right now.
Hopefully Wael has been in the ear of the Saudi Prince that he supported for his Fifa campaign. Lend us a few million would be nice.

£11.1m currently as per accounts, although it probably could be realised for a bit more That's grim reading..... £3,268,865 to loss..... £580k Profit on Player sales..... £454K Paid in interest ffs.......... Hani taken his bit then 'paid' only 12.5m out of pocket then

Up here,Vale's new owners-local business couple are on Radio Stoke daily sharing their hopes and fears and plans.Manager knows their only goal scorer is the ageing Tom Pope and that they must recruit.Stoke's Jack Butland expected to sign for Bournemouth and Crewe's recruiting well under way.If only we had owners that were as up front and communicative.

just reading the accounts, I am assuming the technical accounting bit that was reported as the hold up was down to The Mem being treated as an investment property ( I think that is a change from previous accounts)

Section 23 is grim (page 31) Am I reading that right total "group" debts up whooping £4m last year to £17.4m? If so, then assuming they've continued at least at that rate, "group" debts must now easily exceed £20m? I see there's no mention whatsoever in the Chairman's Statement about still seeking a new stadium, just comments developing players etc in the future!

Genuine question, if you're a fan who's debating whether or not to buy one, what would sway you in the direction of buying one? Is it the football? Price? I'm sure both together influence. Obviously last season was a bad one, would a boring mid table finish next season sway you to buy? Or do you want to challenge a bit more? Anything above mid table and we are punching well above our weight, realistically, I think we need to realise this, The Championship is out of reach with our structure and facilities.
