You don't need a comma there. Nor starting a sentence with ‘But’. Do we need a separate pedants’ thread? 😉 Apparently it's now acceptable!

I stick with Fowler’s Modern English and I’m sure it’s not allowed in there. But I am too lazy to check 😉

It hasn't been wrong to use a conjunctive at the start of the sentence, except in the minds of some. It is the same with words like 'because', 'so' and even 'nor'. 😎 As long as it is in context and doesn't confuse the reader then it is fine.

I'm struggling to be too outraged tbh. At least our idiots provide factual information in their art. Attachment Deleted

I'm Soooooooooooooooo Glad you managed to explain that to its full and final conclusion Full stop please. Only if i have finished and completed the sentence, i may just be pausing for effect, in which case i reserve the right to use a comma

Was it half term last week? Won't affect the knuckle draggers down there - they don't use schools.

At least we have had it confirmed that we are in the middle of a financial crisis!
Our leaders continue in full silence mode and we are now updated by "that lot down the road"!

But the approved contraction when pointing it out would be, "as bad spelling & grammar annoy me... their is" You don't need a comma there. I think it reads clearer and far better with one there.

I make a particular effort to avoid their forum as bad spelling & grammar annoy me, but thought I would check in to see what they are making of this... Have to be honest, I was actually quite shocked to see some of the comments! I mean even for that lot, the reaction to this has been pretty disgusting.. FAR more people saying things like 'Not that big a deal' and 'They should just clean it off and move on' (seriously!) than there are people condemning it. Don't get me wrong, I know their fan base tend to reside in the absolute swamps of Bristol and I can't imagine there is much access to education in these war zones, but even so, I actually expected better of them. I would like to think should the shoe be on the other foot we would pretty much universally condemn this as the completely idiotic act that it is! Just when you think that lot can't sink any lower they always seem to find a way to do so.. Quite impressive really!

Bad grammar and spelling don't annoy me. It happens. I do get annoyed by the people who get annoyed by people pointing out bad grammar and spelling.

I don't think we should waste anymore time on these artists(p**S), from the sad side of Bristol, they are beneath us gas heads and are not worth anymore of our keyboard time, frankly they are WORTHLESS. END OF

Is it only me, or are we one of the most unlucky teams in the league when it comes to random acts of vandalism against us.
South stand at Eastville burning down. Twerton Park having a fire whilst we were still playing games there. Memorial gates being vandalised Now this grafitti incident
Someone really appears to have it in for us.
I'm definitely not pointing the finger of blame at anyone for any of this, just saying it looks like really bad luck.
I'm not sure the police have ever prosecuted anyone for any of these offences either.
