Liverpool and Spurs took around 150,000 between them to Madrid with a handful of arrests. What is it about England away that brings out these morons ? We’re there any arrests last night? Or are you actually saying that there was more trouble between Liverpool and Spurs than last night? One article I just read, stated that the police are adopting a stand off corse of action as to not rile fans, but when they have too, they’ll go in and clear/disperse the fans in the hope that it calms them down. Which worked, the videos being shown online are of course a small minority, but the police did their job, and England fans returned to that area once it calmed down. One thing we’re very good at in this country is blasting our own and letting a few idiots spoil it for the rest! A hundred or so don’t count for the 20,000 or so that are there! It's quite simple really, from 150,000 travelling fans, there was little to no trouble and around 5 arrested. You're not seriously suggesting that there hasn't been trouble in Portugal ?

A couple of dickheads throwing bottles and the police wading in to a load of drunken English people. Most nights in magaluf and places like that .

It looks like it’s the first time abroad without mummy and daddy for most of these kids. I bet the majority are supporters of lower league clubs so have never had the chance to see their own team play abroad. I feel sorry for the genuine England fans and as we saw there was no trouble at previous World Cups (Russia, Brazil, South Africa etc) as the idiots cannot get there on easyJet /Ryanair

To be fair the brit abroad, whether it's stag do's in Riga or kids in Ibiza, We 'the brits' have a culture of going abroad and showing how hard we are by drinking 15 pints of lager, acting like complete bellends before throwing up outside a kebab shop....
It isn't really a football problem.....

It isn't really a football problem..... I said the exact same thing as your last sentence only yesterday evening. It is most definitely a cultural issue, with the FA being unlucky enough to have these idiots attach themselves to the national football team. They (the FA) do excellent work in identifying & banning offenders when arrests are made, but let’s not forget whilst they look after the travel club and its members extremely well, it isn’t the job of the ESTC to babysit every single English person that travels abroad. The majority have no problem behaving well and respecting others, it’s just the few that can’t self police or help themselves once they’re in an environment away from the parents, that grab the headlines. Nothing grates on me more than the go to statement “Typical England fans” or “England fans all the same”. Whilst there is a problem that must be sorted and stamped out, those short sighted comments are ridiculous and extremely wide of the mark.

Nope, because I’ve seen the videos. Like I saw the videos of the Liverpool fans trying to give it the big one to the Spanish police, until they got a whack.

Now, talking of Brits abroad, I have a very cool story about a time when I was initiated by a prostitute in Hamburg..... I was queueing in burger king when I was approached by a rather pretty looking German girl. I thought my luck was in until she offered me a b... J... For 40 euros.... I said no thanks love, I don't require the service offered, but you can have a bite of my 'whopper' for nothing.... Bitch just left.... Unbelievable....

I may or may not have encountered ladies of ill repute whilst I was a young single bloke in the town of Braunschweig (Brunswick to may Brits); in only my first full night in Germany the lads showed me where the were working. Frightened the life out of me; possibly/maybe I got a bit more used to the idea after an evening of drinking pils and schnaps later in my posting
I am sure Nobby can give us a few gen dits on red light areas him and his cabbage headed oppo's did some naked rollmat fighting
