Good decision. Not good enough for this division. I thought he looked his best for a couple of games at DM.

Nice bloke, professional and gave his all! You can’t ask for much more than that! Great crosses but injuries are clearly taking their toll - completely free of injury, more pace and strength then he’d be great! Best decision for all - I hope he can pick it back up again! Eastleigh will need to manage him and not chuck him in for every game or his career will go down the pan IMO. UTG and good luck joe!

I don’t think it was a case of him not being good enough. He showed in the first few games of his first full season that he could be very effective at right back, with good crossing ability. Sadly, injuries really seemed to take its toll on him. Hopefully he’ll still be effective at national league level.

Think he'll be more in his comfort zone there. He'll be an excellent player at that level - league 1 just a bit too much I feel. Good luck Joe - best wishes for rest of your career.

So Parts and James C leave despite contract offers. Does that mean Deon Moore also heading off ?

Wonder if the deal was related to the lad we had from them?

All the best Joe.
Shame about the injuries he suffered here as there was definitely a decent L1 RB in him before those took their toll.
Always came across as a really thoughtful and articulate bloke in interviews too.

A fully fit Joe Partington is a league one right back. The question is whether after his injuries he will ever be fully fit again, this season would suggest that the answer is probably no.

Spoke to him many times, a really nice guy and decent player but had bad luck with injuries.

Best of luck Parts, one of my favourite players over the last couple of seasons, always gave 100%.

Best of luck to Joe; for me a defensive midfielder, never really got going at the MEM, wish him all the best for the future.

I’m sorry it didn’t work out for him esp as I saw him play early all his games for Bournemouth many years ago and I thought he would do better. In the games I saw he was ok but I know others saw more of him. But I know from what he said that he was frustrated at the lack of playing time this year even though despite what others said he was fit for selection much of the time. Good luck Joe and I hope it works out well back at Eastleigh. UTG!

Apparently in the process of setting up a business in Hampshire that runs fitness camps for footballers. Good luck at Eastleigh and for the future Joe.
