As I said in the other place it is no mean achievement for a former professional to go on to get a PhD.
Also Cardiff Met have developed a very strong sporting education base, similar to Bath University. I'd suggest there is some benefit in a club link up with one or other of these Universities, e.g. Cardiff City have there academy based at the University of South Wales sport park and use the facilities for first team training occasionally.

Going to watch Cardiff Met’s second leg game, will also be watching Barry Town United’s first leg tomorrow. Barry will include ex Rovers player Kayne McLaggon.

One of my former colleagues was Christian's cousin. He said CE had nothing but high praise for Rovers and the fanbase. He also said CE's glowing description of Bristol was one of the reasons he moved down to the area.

Thanks for sharing that! Good read and didn’t have a clue about any of his post playing career achievements! Sounds like he’s done very well for himself!
