I wouldn't want him here. sh** attitude to women ! leopard doesn't change his spots. I'm really not sure about his attitude towards women, but for me, the leopard quote is an old and outdated quote. As people do and can change. You beat me to it.

Wasn’t this ‘signing’ supposed to of been announced Friday or yesterday? Yes mate, dunno what’s going on - hope it didn’t fall through! Maybe it’s just taking longer than expected? Weird though, he said was was on his way to get the paperwork ready... I have noticed that we never seem to announce signings over the weekend cus Sunday’s are people’s day off etc. If he is to sign I would suggest to see an announcement tomorrow before we leave for Dublin or maybe even later I’m not sure.

Never announce it! Cause chaos in the Blackpool ranks when he just lines up in the starting XI on opening day.

Good shout, although if he signed I’d have thought he would have been in the squad for Yate Town I guess let’s wait and see, nothing else we can do 😫

Wasn’t so long ago Ched Evans name was mud on here I wouldn't want him here. sh** attitude to women ! leopard doesn't change his spots. Chad Evans was initially found guilty, I believe he spent 30 months in jail but retrial of his case was ordered and he was found NOT GUILTY. An innocent man did jail time and had his character stained, no doubt he would have received substantial compensation. From your comments above you appear to have assumed he was a guilty man, but it is proven by law he was NOT GUILTY., If he joins the Rovers that would be great if not then the best of luck to him for the rest of his career and someone will be getting a good player who scores goals and plenty of them..

Losing several years of freedom for having a sh** attitude to women is a massive price to pay. He's acknowledged his errors and apologised to his Mrs and they've moved on. I see no reason why he shouldn't be welcomed here and I think he'd be a fantastic signing.

Swindon Town are ex Premier league, so that doesn't necessarily mean much. Oops meant to put newly promoted. Amended now. I'd take Mcgoldrick or Sharp in that case, either would do a job at our level. I doubt either would be interested in dropping down to League One though.

Ched Evans would be a quality signing, should and would be playing at a much higher level had the injustice not happened.
Another player I’ve seen mentioned on here Leon Clarke would also be a class signing for this level.
Fingers crossed but I’m really not expecting a proven striker of their quality 🤞🏻

Could be Steven Naismith who has been released by Norwich.

Could be Steven Naismith who has been released by Norwich. His wage demands would probably be 3/4 of our entire wage budget.

Does anyone know if there are any trialists training with the squad at the moment?

I didn't know we were being serious, I thought we were just chucking names about of anyone who played for those three promoted clubs ! Damn. My next suggestion was going to be Billy Sharp.

Ched Evans would be quality. Fingers crossed. Adam Idah (Norwich) and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy (Aston Villa) from the promoted clubs would decent too.
In other positions I would also take any of Keinan Davis, Andre Green, Callum O'Hare and Jacob Ramsey from Villa, Kean Bryan, Mark Duffy and John Lundstram from Sheffield United, Todd Cantwell, Daniel Adshead from Norwich.

Didn't Duffy, Lundstram and Cantwell all get a reasonable amount of game time for Sheff Utd and Norwich respectively last season? I may be wrong but if that's the case I'd be staggered if any of them joined us.

Lundstram only started 5 games in the league and came on as a sub a further 5 times.
