With THD looking like a long term/permanent injury any good left backs about Pirate (Wes) Noah Smerdon is a promising one at Gloucester City. Luke Leahy still on a free after his release by Walsall. I like Harry Pickering at Crewe. If we go down the loan route I like Lewis Gordon (Watford), Adam Lewis (Liverpool), Jake Vokins (Southampton), Brandon Williams (Man Utd) and Luke Thomas (Leicester).

Our two left backs MK and THD both going very hard at on the bikes this morning at a North Bristol Gym, since they were both with the Sports Therapist I figure they are unlikely to play tomorrow. Indeed if the rumours are true about THD it will be quite a while before he will be risked in a game.

Hopefully he won't be out for too long then.

Definitely need another left back then. Hence the interest in Scales - left footer who can play there ? and Kitching too.

THD will be out for months Was told that this could be the end of his football career Probally worried about an ongoing problem, if it's the same knee as before. When he was playing last season, GC said he could still feel a pain. Hopefully not another Jamie Shore situation. Hopefully if he's already hitting the bikes hard, it's not as bad as first feared. Unless he needs an operation, it's hard to predict how long he will be out for. Expect we will bring in someone on loan, if he's going to be out for months. As we don't want 3 permanent left backs, when he returns.

Sorry forgot to mention Scales, god he was talking about him for 5 minutes. He wants him to replace Craig as he gets older - got a feeling it will be his last season
I think he mentioned a lad Mehew at LB tomorrow - not sure if he’s a trialist or one of our youngsters

Usually plays in centre midfield. U18 Player of the Year.

Going hard at it hard on a bike is not the same as twisting turning and jumpinq I know that. But if your knee is totally knackered, you can't ride a bike straight away. You won't even be able to bend it. I said he could be out for months. But if he only injured or last week, it's a good sign he can bend it and move it fast already. If it's a really bad injury, he wouldn't be able to walk yet.
