Genuine question and not a WU but shouldn't the new kits be out by now? 2 weeks till the season starts I would have thought they should be unless this is usual and I haven't been paying attention in previous years

It is quite ridiculous, no doubt someone will have an excuse, but surely if it takes so long then you just get it ordered earlier, if they got the kit out in early June then they'd sell more and get the money in the bank sooner, they'll be discounting them by Christmas!

Paddy Power now saying there will actually be no logo on the Huddersfield kit as the shirt should be sacred. In this case i guess no publicity is good publicity Fingers crossed for the same approach on the rovers kit 👏 Excellent play from Paddy Power, but anyone else doing something like that will be hit by diminishing returns. If sponsorless kits do take off then it could also lead to diminishing returns for everyone, companies aren't going to pay for nothing once the novelty has worn off, neither will companies pay as much to sponsor if sponsors go out of vogue and fans want their team to join the trend. Not saying it's a bad thing, would love a sponsorless shirt and I don't believe in the way everything is monetised in the modern game and in life generally today.

So the only other teams in the football league that haven’t revealed their kits yet are Bolton, Bury and Macclesfield. Not exactly great company to be in.
Not too bothered about what the design will be but aren’t we missing out on sales by releasing it this late? Presumably it will be ready for the fun day this Sunday.

Ridiculous that they haven't been released yet.

Wow, I had not realised that we were that far behind the rest.. That is pretty damming. I know some will say 'it's only a kit, stop moaning' etc etc .. But for me this sort of thing is symptomatic of BRFC in general to be frank. I for one am getting fed up of my club being so far behind the crowd off the pitch. It is embarrassing.

I would be expecting some teaser pictures very soon in time for the release on the fun day.

I’ve always wondered why sponsors for the bigger clubs aren’t subsidising the cost of shirts- it seems mad to me that supporters pay through the nose to walk around basically being a billboard providing awareness for someone’s brand.

The main reveal on the fun day is too late. We must have known the design for a while so I can't understand how and why we haven't released some images yet, even if it isn't on sale until a later date.

As a direct comparison, City's kit has been on sale for a month today.

If we had our new shirts on sale for a month then we would have some extra funds in the pot to improve the team!

True though isn't it? They are light years ahead of us off the pitch and stuff like this only highlights it.

Whatever happened to MidlandGas? He’s been signed up by Walsall, DC gave him free season ticket because Midland was his number 1 fan.
