I can see this being a big away following. Any ideas what our allocation will be? I have priority but my kids don’t so a bit of a dilemma whether to get my ticket tomorrow and hope it goes to general sale for them (and assume it’s a ‘we are Rovers, we sit where we want’ scenario), or wait for general sale for all three of us. I imagine they could give us a huge allocation in theory, but wondered if policing & stewarding costs / police advice might restrict this?

I'm hoping to go to this one with my bro. Looking forward to it already. Went the last time we played at St Andrews and the following and noise was impressive.

Sit where you like mate, can’t imagine many people would demand you move away from your kids.

I have a season ticket and it says 2 per season ticket can be purchased online.can anyone confirm if they have been able to fo the same in person at the ground? Not a technophobe but I have others season tickets and it would be so much easier with one transaction as well as guaranteeing seats next to each other.

Sit where you like mate, can’t imagine many people would demand you move away from your kids. Not if it's allocated seating. Just wait, buy the tickets together - where would you expect those whose seats you have taken to sit , why should they have to explain themselves once they find they have taken someone else's seats? This sort of thing causes an unnecessary problem, which has a knock on effect, especially for those arriving late.

Yeh, me and Scrappydoo really enjoyed missing the start of the game and nearly being crushed to death getting in while the twat steward stood there looking dopey and repeating that there weren't any seats left. Took ages before someone finally got another section opened up to accommodate us all.

Sit wherever you and your kids like. The stand holds 4,500 people, it’s only those that turn up insisting to be in THEIR seat that generally cause more hassle than its worth.
You only have to recall our first trip to the Ricoh to see how much of an absolute farce all of that nonsense generally becomes. Or indeed Fratton Park 2014, where we witnessed Rovers fans fighting amongst themselves over my seat/your seat and people standing up so they can actually see the game.
99% of the time Gasheads sort things for themselves no problem, its just when that BIG game comes along and the day trippers flock.

That is exactly what we want to avoid. If you deliberately sit in someone else's seat when there is allocated seating, then you are the cause of this! It's quite simple really......

Personally I’ve never understood the burning need to sit where the ticket states. It’s a randomly allocated seat, the supporter has not asked for. Unlike the cinema of course, where you get to sit exactly where you fancy. You’re never going to have every single person in a 1000+ crowd adhere to the rule and it only takes one to knock the whole thing into oblivion. This isn’t just for Rovers, but any club. So it really is unnecessary. Only clubs like Oxford try to enforce it, in some spineless half arsed attempt to stifle our atmosphere. Such tactic hasn’t worked in our last two visits, but unfortunately at Coventry on that first visit it did. One of the worst away trips I can remember, woeful football on the pitch and a flat, silent, non existent atmosphere off of it. With 4000 of us there.

So would you have the same attitude when we eventually get an all seater stadium or when we visit and sell our seat allocation Most top flight club supporters seem to get on ok with the correct system why not us

Guess again.

Do we also get a section for the Ray Winstone lookalikes too?

I’d like to think when/if we get a new stadium, we’d have safe standing, I’m pretty sure it’s in Everton’s plans for there new stadium.

The way football is going you’ll receive a banning order and court summons for starting a rendition of ‘oh when The Gas!’
