One to stick in the diary for after we've smashed Blackpool and you want more 😎 Tuesday 6th August the dev squad make the short trip to Sea Mills to face Bristol Manor Farm in what will be Rovers' first competitive game at The Creek (I think). £5 your entry, bar open before during and after the game and a chance to cast a beady eye over Lee Mansell's men. City pulled 1417 to The Creek in their pre-season game there, be nice if we could beat that and support a friendly local club in the process. Hope to see some of you there. bristolmanorfarm.com/the-gas-are-coming/

Play Tomlinson on Saturday and stick the other 2 on the bench.

A very fast-paced open game. I was surprised at the fitness and stamina levels of the Manor Farm players. They looked a useful side and their number 7 caused our defence all sorts of troubles. One piece of outstanding skill and quality with Tomlinsons second half goal, worth the £5 entrance fee on its own.
Honourable mention for Cam Hargreaves, on another day he could have scored a hat trick.
Good to meet up with Severncider again, and I've finally been able to put a face to Gasincider!

Good to smash those Riverbank dwelling slugs, a famous Bristol Derby win. North Bristol is ours.

They aren't co-joined, but they do smell a bit!

I think we should play the whole development team that beat manor farm v wycombe. I know city beat them 11-0 or something like that but a win is a win and it proves they are good enough.

Young ex-Plymouth dev squad RB? Seems a bit like Scales, RB who wants to get forward and support the attack (based on reading 3 links from Google, I'll admit ha!) Any opinion on the lad pirate? Deon Moore's scored in both GFA matches too IIRC? I know it's completely different level, but I've heard a few good things on here from other posters (pinch of salt I am learning the longer I'm here!) but I'd say he's due for an outing with the main team surely?

Never seen the lad Hodges play. I've seen Moore a fair few times and he has decent pace and is very powerful, but still looked a bit raw. There is a potential player in there though IMHO.

Neither Hodges (especially) or Moore shouted: "put me in the first team". Imho.

Thanks lads! I often wonder about the mentality in the dev squad though, perhaps a diva might not put in the work cos it's not first team. I do accept though that the reason they are there is to prove themselves and is down to their own hard work to move up.
Considering TN, I'd be willing to play Moore instead of, see what happens? I mean, we couldn't possibly have a worse outcome...
