What is 58 million (assuming it’s not JCH’s release clause)? Recent estimate of the value of the fruit market site

What happened to the poster who said its happening "seriously" What happened to all the bullshitting ITK’ers? Or more accurately NITK’ers? Do you mean Wael? He said something about more information about the Fruit Market site coming at the end of August. That's the last official line I heard from the Club.

That's the last official line I heard from the Club. No he didn’t. The only time Wael or anyone at the club has gone on record to talk about the Fruit Market was on Radio Bristol at the beginning of the season and reading the full transcript back there is no mention of more information coming at the end of August. He responded to Geoffs question about when further updates would be given by saying only if talks were successful and there had been an advancement in the planning stage with the council.

It must be rare to have a major public statement by the owner of a football club for it then not to be mentioned on the official club website. I guess those who run the site were told not to publish it. By whom and why?

What happened to the other consortium?
No, not that one. Or that one. They were ages ago.
I mean the one from about 14 days ago who were due to buy the club and the fruit market by the end of that week, according to the BP.
Taking of consortia, the "real" one is also pretty damned quiet. So quiet, in fact, that one could be forgiven the thought that they don't exist, either.

Surely it is about time Wael was asked how things are going again?
He mentioned the Fruit Market in the first place, has that died?

We should buy a half share of Twerton Park 1. Need capital to do that. 2. Only value in the club is I believe subject to a charge (stadium) which would need to be sold to cover our debt. 3. Anyone putting money into the club would almost certainly want to get something out of it unless they were a fan, and you won't get any return on investment at Twerton. 4. Even an upgraded Twerton would be league 2 in terms of capacity. Not having a go, because I have an awful feeling we will end up there "temporarily" to "clear debts" and enable a "focussed stadium site acquisition" What that would actually enable is for the owners to get their money back and f**k off eastwards.

If the price is £58m for the fruit market then I can see why other sites are being looked at. How (long) would that sort of investment take to get back and turn a profit.
