As I understand things, as of a week ago they were still negotiating. Difference between asking price and offer.

For the club or the fruit market? Fruit Market, I have no idea about the club itself. Okay, one further question then: do you know if there has been an improved offer? I’m not convinced by the talk that this mystery buyer had tabled a solitary bid back in the summer- sounded like they were lukewarm in their appetite to do a deal.

As a fact, no, I have not been told. Like you I would be surprised if there hasn't been ongoing discussions and suspect we are in the typical standoff between two commercial parties. That is pretty much all I do know.

If the council are involved in getting them out, the diesel ban and the rest of the shareholders have accepted - why are they holding off so much?

Yeah. It was reported all shareholders had accepted with the exception of total produce Now I’m not usually one to indulge in the conspiracy nonsense involving Lansdown, but I must admit that you could start to look at the recent sponsorship/tie-in with City and start to scratch your chin a bit...

It does make you laugh, but I don't think Lansdown is that desperate tbh Surely millions of £'s its worth more than Bristol Sport buying their fruit?

It’s certainly at the very very very least “interesting” with regards to all the other shareholders accepting, that Total Produce are seemingly dragging their feet on land that looks subject to compulsory purchase anyway and at the same time they form a partnership with Bristol Rovers rivals. Watch this space I guess.
