Apologies if it has already been posted, but Ian Holloway will be at Charfield Village Hall near Wotton Under Edge, on Friday September 6th at 7pm giving an after dinner speech. Ticket prices are £30 to include meal. I am not that computer literate so have no idea how to post a link but if you search Ian Holloway Charfield it does come up. If nothing else it will be entertaining knowing Olly!!! www.eventbrite.com/e/an-evening-with-ian-holloway-tickets-66897641647

Ask him why he signed Mickey evans. And make sure you are at the back of the hall when you do.

In his defence, the signing of Mickey Evans was seen as quite good at the time - didn't he score in his second game? As well as had a good record with Plymouth.
I think he had fitness issues maybe due to a fatigue problem which was identified at a later stage (probably after he went back to Plymouth?)

Probably being diplomatic on the radio, but I still remember the speech he gave when we won the title in 1990.

Diplomatic or not, hearing him wax lyrical about the City anytime he joins Colin Murray on the Quest highlights show, is absolutely sickening.

His last evening with, which Ian Holtby arranged, was very good. An entertaining evening especially when Boris and the rest of the crew joined in.
