Jed McCrory is allegedly telling people in football circles that he will be our new chairman in three weeks time.
If there is any truth in this then that will be the death knell for our club. This connection has been hovering around the club for some months now and it's time for NH to come out and say what is going on.

If this is true I won't be going to another home game this season.
As a fanbase we CAN'T let them in!

I really hate this kind of thing. Rumours, doom and gloom after a great result, and it'll probably come to nothing. Something from NH would be nice to kill this.

This connection has been hovering around the club for some months now and it's time for NH to come out and say what is going on. I don't know much at all about the bloke, so I would be interested to hear why he would be the "Death knell for our club". Posts from the other forum: gasheads.org/thread/1554/tommy-agombar-jed-mccrorySwindon fan in peace , I cannot stress enough how much you need to be on guard if these 2 are sniffing around. Jed Mcrory is a real chancer and is currently being pursued by lee Power our chairman after he lost a High Court battle in the summer over the ownership of the club. He invested the princely sum of £1 to buy us when Andrew Black pulled the rug during the Di Canio era, Black wrote off the debts and Mcrory had to cover the ongoing running of the club. The first thing he did was to give himself a salary and lease a Bentley along with some Mercs for his 3 other cronies. Power was brought in by McRory to cover the losses and he invested 1.2 Million then Power brought in another on board and managed to kick them off when he found out about the money being taken out of the business. Jed was then finally taken off the board only to return towards the end of last season with an attempt to take over as the rightful owner all this after Power had put over 2 million in thankfully he lost and was ordered to pay 70k in damages. There is an episode on the channel 5 "cant pay we will take it away' in the coming weeks where rumoured baliffs turned up at the County Ground looking for Jed. Protest and do whatever you can to steer clear of these shady characters good luck. ---------- Hereford fan here in peace! Basically guys even if this is a rumour start making noise about it NOW!!!!! At the time that Keyte sold HUFC to Agombar we were just glad to see the back of Keyte and all his lies, had we realised then that we'd jumped into bed with the devil we wouldn't have been so quick to welcome Agombar into our city! His 1st act was to promise us Conference status, his 2nd act was to not pay any of last seasons playing and non playing staff, his 3rd act was to relegate us 2 divisions into obscurity! Fortunately we woke up to his plans for developing Edgar St early on, and have lobbied the council and got our local MP Jesse Norman asking questions in parliament. I think now the penny is dropping for Agombar's puppet masters, and hopefully he's cutting his losses and finding another struggling club who's carcass he can feed off. Don't let that be BRFC! Start making noises now, take crudely made banners into the next game! Remember guys, prevention is better than cure! ---------- Tommy was at Royston yesterday, as a bullsfans I would be worried for you if they are thinking of targeting Rovers. A couple of blogs that may help some fans who haven't heard or seen HUFC fans fight or want to a bit more about Tommy: Save Edgar Street: saveedgarstreet.com/ We want our club back: wewantourclubback.blogspot.co.uk/ News blog with allthings Hereford is Bullsnews - bullsnews.blogspot.co.uk/ and our local media outlet Hereford Times is www.herefordtimes.com/sport/thebulls/conference_premier/------------- Another Hereford fan in peace (and also in pieces!). Just got the heads up about your situation from our own fans forum, and I want to reinforce everything that my fellow Bulls Banter posters, have said on here. We were so glad to see the back of the pathological liar that is David Keyte, that we almost relieved when Tommy Agombar stepped up with his promised £7 million investment. And look where we are now! Agombar failed the ODI test, but, the FA now admits, they have no power of sanction with regard to that, so he's still hanging around Edgar Street, quite blatantly thumbing his nose at the FA. Of course, if prospective owners and/or directors had to take the fit & proper persons test BEFORE they were allowed to buy into a club, most of these problems might not have arisen. There again, they still might have, because TA has now put his puppet (did I mean muppet?) Andy Lonsdale to be a fugurehead whilst he continues his little game of trying to get his paws on the leases, so that the ground can be redeveloped, and he (and his cronies) can trouser a big profit. Don't let this happen to you. If you don't already have one, start thinking, and doing something, about a supporters trust. HUST have led the boycott that is blocking TA's plans, and it's also gained the attention of the Hereford Council, and the national media. I understand your concerns, but no matter how loud you shout as individuals, collectively, you'll have so much more power! Don't sit back & let the same thing happen to you as has happened to us. McCrory, Agombar, Lonsdale, are all out of the same mould, loads of promises, all claiming that football is there main interest, but there is always an ulterior motive. !!!!!!!BEWARE!!!!! ---------- As previous Bulls fans have said BEWARE!!!! Do not let these parasites anywhere near your club. Most HUFC fans are boycotting the club to starve them out, but believe me after 35 years of supporting my beloved Bulls, it is the worst thing any fan could have to do, kill it to get it back. These people are SCUM!!! DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOUR CLUB!! --------

I'd like an email from the club to clear this up. Surely NH should know that this bloke stinks of bullshit.
Look at Hereford ffs! It's bad enough seeing Rovers where we are right now, let alone in their position!

Just what we need. Why can't we just have a good season for once?!
NH reacted pretty quickly to stadium rumours so it will be interesting to see how long it takes to comment on this.

Who could really blame ANY of the Board if they sold up to the first offer they get from this crowd? So many give them so much stick it could almost be a case of "Well you fans know best so see how you like this lot!!!" I would hate them for it but could I blame them? Not really.

They have a responsibility to the club. It's no good saying they got abuse so they don't have that responsibility any more. They got abuse for failing. They still have the same responsibilities and they have failed. One doesn't mitigate the other.

Find this unlikely as indications have always been that Higgs will not sell cheap while UWE remains a possibility. So very much hoping it's bs. Better the devil you know for now

Can't believe after what NH said a few weeks ago about chancers that had wanted to invest and they had vetted them and turned them away that they would do a u turn and let these wideboys in through the door

Can't believe after what NH said a few weeks ago about chancers that had wanted to invest and they had vetted them and turned them away that they would do a u turn and let these wideboys in through the door Indeed, but then the spin and forgetting what they said from week to week to sound good would be par for the course
Of course it would be the nasty fans fault for upsetting the BoD, who have gotten of far more lightly than they would have at just about any other decent sized club.
If anything despite being in the conference, the pressure on the BoD has decreased even with next to no news on the stadium front. What a sh*t horrible bunch of fans we are to those at the top
