I'm going to the match straight from work and I was going to have a pasty on arrival because by the I'm Hank Marvin. I will still try the Gingsters crap, even though they sponsor Plymouth, and report back this evening. If they're still crap, I won't be buying any more. they are cheaper crap than the overpriced crap we have at the moment

Proper Cornish pasties imo were never that great. The best mass produced pasty company is the Westcountry Pasty ship which has become a bit of a franchise now at services and train stations.
The best pasties are from Cornwall, particularly Rock Bakery in Rock, Dennies which is Falmouth way and there is a little hut in St Ives up on the high st.
Nothing else comes close and isn’t worth getting in a twist over.

You'd be distraught then if you saw what the Aussies tried to fob off as a Cornish pasty.
I haven't had a Ginsters pasty in years, but I don't recall them being that bad. I'd bloody love one for my lunch today.
Best pasty I can remember having was sat outside the pub at Tintagel with a pint of Cornish Bitter.
Now your talking, nothing better than the pasties sold in Tintagel! Yes agree with that ... fantastic!

Living here in Cornwall, there are a number of excellent suppliers of Pasties. Ginster is NOT one of them. They are the brand to avoid at all costs.
Why oh why would we have to link into the main supporter of Plymouth?
If you care to go to Landewednack (The Lizard) try Anne's Pasties - now we are talking proper food.
I will now bring my own choice to the match in the future and not buy one at the ground. More money the club is to loose......

I feel its important to recognise we're never going to get pasties served in a football stadium on a par with a proper cornish bakery lads!
Perhaps the old pasties were crap cos of the lack of facilities? If so we've solved one problem and ruined it by having a crap supplier!.
That said, other than the mem I've only ever been to Wembley and the Millennium stadium, so admittedly I don't know of match food done right as an inspiration?

You should try the food at Kidderminster. Awesome. If we could only replicate it here.

On my last comment on this subject, let me quote a saying a well known in Cornwall -
"What follows a Ginster delivery lorry ANSWER - 2 lorries full of toilet paper!"

Just spent the past week with my other half who lives in St. Austell. Ate few pasties from a place called Oggies' in the town. Gorgeous Pasties they were!

Wouldn't of been the first club to spring to mind, what do you think they're doing better?
