I just think everyone was worried he would get attacked and dock us points, he didnt, we won....leave it as that. Everyone got what they wanted. Some of them probably would party if he died, that's just the world we live in unfortunately. They got to chant a load of vile bollocks, so i get to call out their vile conduct. None of them have got any minerals, none of them. Just a bunch of chavvy yobs, who bring shame on us all and not for the first time.
Chavvy scum and dogshit losers - Maybe just leave it at that and accept that 10% of the Thatchers End are vermin?
More than likely as id say that is an accurate percentage of the human race in general.

Why the hell did he walk through the former family enclosure? Have you ever seen a player go off injured and then go and sit in the director's box? Odd things to do by someone who was clearly going to get abuse. Tbf, Keith Brookman was saying that apparently whenever he goes off injured/subbed he likes to go to hospitality to watch the game (not that he ever did that with us though, although I'm not sure we ever subbed him lol). Keith wondered if he'd appear until chants could be heard in the 2nd half which confirmed that he want there

None of those were unexpected -Β even Taylor would have known hed get that.
Chanting they'd party when he dies [particularly against the backdrop of Agogo's premature death] was vile. Utterly vile. Shameful scumbags chanting that.
It terrace chants. No worse than the commonly heard "Let him die, let him die, let him die" when an opposition player goes down injured. Geez some people are too precious. Unbelievable. It was a disgrace. No question.

Snowflakes one and all. This is football terraces for god sake don't get to offended pleeeeeese. Not at all. Just some people have some common decency about them. Just because it's a football terrace does not give anyone the right to go as far as some did today.

People were worried an idiot would get to Taylor and attack him, nobody did. Not sure why some people still have an issue. That was 2.5 years worth of anger coming out there, its done now, no harm done. excactly done dusted finished we move on the blokes a twat end of story my opinion completely screwed his career for what money money money will never be welcome back at rover ever again TWAT Il second that.. on a day when we remembered a genuinely good bloke JA.. the little bloke is sooo insignificant.. with no scruples or integrity whatsoever .. good riddance little snake . Hope the money makes you happy ? Utg

If you like. I don't really care. What I do know is that I don't like that element of our support. I appreciate that wanting to clap the bloke for the goals and workrate he gave us is very much a minority view and that most wanted to give him stick. Fair enough, but some of the stuff today from grown adults was simply pathetic in my opinion. Sorry if it's not a popular view.

Donβt apologise 1970 u are entitled to yr view point. But it is all pantomime β in the great scheme of things . . We live in such a snowflake PC controlled environment, a bit of light relief . No one was hurt . It was all verbal. Surely that is all that is left to us in these rapidly disappearing days of free speech. Utg

People shouting traitor, people shouting shithead... no surprises. Some of our fans bit sensitive. Was always going get some stick. I agree, I was going to start a new thread on this in light of people talking about walking away from the Gas- but I don't know how to phrase what I want to say. I find it a bit rich personally that some posters can take offence to the treatment of the snake yet stand back and watch on here with some of the personal abuse that gets thrown around and not say a word about it. It's like we can tear each other apart and that's fair game but don't you dare give a bit of stick to a player who made a laughing stock of the club. I mean wtf? If I took some of the abuse I have received on here personally I'd have given up long ago (no doubt to lots of cheers ) but it's water off a duck's back to me because I stopped seeing Rovers as one big happy family long ago. I care only about the club because it represents the area I was born and raised in. What other supporters do whether I agree with it or not is immaterial to me. The club is imperfect, the supporters are imperfect. Some need to make their peace with that because you can't change it.

I happily joined in with some of the chants yesterday as Matty T is a City/Oxford player now and we needed to get in his head. It worked. And we got him back for leaving us in the manner he did.
The chants about partying when he dies are a step too far and are out there with calling keepers paedophiles. Have some decency, especially with the context of the game.
Iβll give Matty reasonable abuse over and above the abuse a normal city player would get during a game, as itβs part of the pantomime drama and mind games of the occasion.
Once the game stops that ends, and if I bumped into him in the street Iβd try and thank the man for his contribution and shake his hand.
I hope that one day that water can flow under a bridge and he can be recognised for what he did for us in his time with us, and not for how it ended and a disappointing spell south of the river for what was a talented player.

I think we all collectively Steve Irwined the Snake.....!
Yes he might be more financially better off, but his career has nosedived and confidence shot..... tripping over the ball, fresh air kicking a sitter and picking on a kid off the ball says it all. Typical sh!thead.
'Orrible bar steward, begone.

Banter, wind ups and a bit of humour is one thing, but hate, venom and vitriol is something else.
Yesterday some things were amusing while others were a step too far.
Thereβs more important things in life and the tragedy of Junior passing at such a young age was sobering yesterday and a lesson for us all.
I was disappointed when Matty Taylor left, but itβs a game of football and there are more important things in life if you are fortunate to experience it.

Everything worked out fine though, snakey will be in hospital next week (supposedly) but that was nothing to do with us. Just enjoy the result and performance rather than 1 chant sang by supporters which quite a few on her seem strangely focused on.
